Why is it, when lib derailed my stealing thread with blatant vulgarity to purposefully have it moved to trash talk, he got away with it, but people start going off topic on this thread and we're told to keep it in line and it still stays in discussion? If I wrote something similar here to what he wrote in my thread, I have a feeling I'd just get a forum ban, and this thread would still stay here. Food for thought, but it's a double standard. This thread probably is best suited for trash talk. I don't think anyone has anything further to say on pet gating. It's kind of a pointless discussion anyway, pet gating isn't something that seems to jive with the rest of the server's mechanics.
Yeah I think pet gating has really been covered by the people that said it would mainly be used to give new players headaches and transfer those headaches to the counselor and GM staff. I imagine the idea stems from people being concerned about how strong tamers are compared to everyone else but it also seems that staff has been pretty conscious of that and is trying to address it the best way they can. btw HC - Step Four Profit, HCG Virus, Chaotic Neutral, Marvaless aren't all being played by you? That's where those comments are coming from. That is right, and the account was given to my friend Rainbow who is starting back up. I bought a home for him as well. I haven't seen him online in several days. I stick to 3 accounts, try harder to change the subject from knowing bug abuse to some hearsay more. Tela is free to check my accounts at any point in time and already has to confirm this since one of you were so offended by your assumption that you ran to him and complained. I think I was pretty up front about what happened with Rikktor - if there's something else that needs to be explained there just ask and I'd be glad to. We hadn't seen Step Four Profit before so someone looked him up on the database after he was out pking at that idoc and saw his name had been changed from HateCrimeX so it looked like you were playing 4 guys in factions. I mean it seemed like a fair assumption to me. I'm not even sure staff has an official way to handle people playing +3 accounts so it wasn't like it was super damning. I figured you were just using him to farm faction points or something.
It's okay to scam a guy out of his duel win as you loot his house as long as you say that you lost connection and that looting him while he was away had nothing to do with the duel. It's okay to play four (or more) accounts as long as you say they belong to your friend/children/girlfriend and hatecrime isn't the only person on the server guilty of this.

You're still missing the biggest point that I was trying to make here. I don't care about saving face, if you want to think that I tricked someone in order to loot their house, fine, I'm a big meanie. You guys exploited a bug. I'm not trying to get you banned. I never asked anyone for a ban, never cried ban hammer, never even mentioned the word ban. I voiced how I thought this was a shitty thing to do in the first place and the argument got spilled over as to what's worse or how what I do or the people I am associated with do can be construed as just as bad or worse. The point I then tried making is as simple as what I just said. I could be an asshole but you guys used a bug to your own benefit. I want to point out, I have not completely read the 8 page novel that this thread has turned into before writing this. (seriously stop reading) It's probably just me, but if somebody had brought Rikktor to Paws and parked him, I would have been ecstatic for the show of interest in bringing something to my doorstep. It awakens feelings of highschool nostalgia when peers showed up to your house and wanted to to hang with them. I'd always do the double take "You mean, who? Me you want to hang out?"
