Playing UO Renaissance on a Mac OSX using a download and play package

Welcome Kuato. As Vandalin said, we've all learnt to live without the music. For me, it's a small price to pay for being able to play on my Mac. Always keep an eye out though, in case someone cracks it some day!

The last few days I've had an issue where I can't launch any more than one Mac client at a time. I'm not doing anything differently, it just started happening. Has anyone experienced this? I usually run 2 clients.

I know I had lots of teething troubles in the first month or so but I can't say I've experienced that one. Good luck with it, Vandalin.

Haha it's ok. Very annoying. Now I can't launch at all so I've locked myself out of the game.

Can't figure out if it's a client issue or just a mac issue. I've cleared caches and deleted preference files, nothing like that is working.

Fuck, that is serious stuff. You've obviously deleted absolutely everything off your Mac (after copying your Razor macros)?

EDIT: and you're using the same internet connection as ever?

I just saved all my profile and macro files and reinstalled the clients. All solved. But, no idea. Third time I've had to reinstall over some minor issue but I can live with it.

I definitely had that issue when I was somewhere and it didn't seem to like the wifi connection I had at the time.

Glad you're back on. I agree. It seems like a minor miracle that we're able to play this on a Mac that you learn to live with the bumps in the road, it seems.

i have no idea. i can run 3 clients without problem.

ps: where are profiles & macros stored?
i d like to backup now im settles before i loose everything

i always get these errors:

i had the same problem when i tried to modify the mul files myself.
i cant get it working BUT

if you replace the existing muls with 1 you can download pre modified, then it works. for example i was able to run the mod with CUT DOWN trees, but this also included many other things. (i ended up not playing with modified cause it fucks up more than i wanted to change) gems looks redicoulus, pixels around gold & keys gets scrambled ect... i felt it did more harm than good.
i got 6 mod files if you wanna give it a go. just pm me your email address and ill send them over to you.

Hi just started playing with the Mac Client a couple days ago and the only real issue im having is that the Client thinks the ALT key is always pressed, this means everytime i press enter I switch to fullscreen.

Im playing on o 2014 MacBook Pro with Sierra, any thoughts?

enable "use F1, F2 , ect keys as standard function keys"
(settings > keyboard)

it slightly changes how your keyboard imput behaves.
