Precasting

    Server isn't limited to era accuracy the way Uosa was though, Precasting works on every other server out there 100% Perfectly. So why take it out? Hybrid for example, Shit they have precasting + runics etc and there's more stun mages, inscribe mages, dex monkeys etc then tank mages so I fail to see the reason behind taking it out, it doesn't come close to forcing people to play a tank mage because 1. No instant hit & 2. Mages can wear armor so while tank mages aren't OP like they were in t2a pvp they are still a nice class to play, if you take out precasting then kiss that temp goodbye in pvp because you're taking out the only thing left a tank mage has, Element of surprise.

    Also I believe the goal on UOR is to balance pvp which OSI failed to do.

    I'm almost 100% positive that you could precast spells in UO:R.

    i think when they put eval/anat defensive wrestle in they added precasting to uor. i alot of uor that you had to have a spell book in your hands to cast.
