    I was curious to see if people here could agree (even agree to, if not do it) to get along and play as a group for a month for fun.


    But you know that'll never happen, it was more a tongue in cheek post and of course I had to refute the fact that thieves are what makes people leave.

    I've never heard anyone complain about theifs being a problem...i think blackeye proves you can make a successful go at theifing here with the current system..

    That said, I'm happy we have the population here that pk's and theifs exist!

    Now, if you are a pk/theif and you troll new players that's pretty weak. We need population.. Steal/kill the vets, don't troll new players. Problem here is if ur a vet you probably have lots of friends who may not kill/steal from you.. So that only leaves new players open to attacks.

    Sure, I get mad when I get rolled by groups of 3-4+ pk's.. Or when they scout on blues then recall in with 4pks.. So I may scream and shout.. But frankly most of them res so it's nothing that will make me rage quit. I would much rather die to one red then 5.

    I don't agree to have a Trammel month... That said if everyone could play with a little respect for new players that would go along way.

    Not sure why house looting is even a discussion point.. I'd bet money blackeye spends serious hours trying to get a chance at a house loot.. My guess is his success rate is very very low (yet he is the best on the server!)

    If you get house looted blame urself.
    If you troll/kill newbs.. Ur lame.

    Not sure I agree here... I can smell a theif before they get close enough to my bag - most run straight at you... Plus you can already kill them with no count and a large % run around perma Grey... So feel free to kill away.

    I change my game style to prevent loss, it's already hard enough for theifs.

    Bonus:

    The Effective Detective - a mini guide

    forensic evaluation / detect hidden / tracking / hiding / stealth / snooping / 60 stealing

    Follow the troller code
    NEVER break the following rules

    1. You may say nothing except for, "(name) is in the thieve's guild" and when applicable, "(name) is in the thieve's guild and can be killed now!" and when further applicable, "they've got (contents) in their backpack right now"
    2. Never leave the guard zone
    3. Follow the 3 step process. No more, no less.

    Apply disguise kit. Scan banks for thieves. Find one and latch on. You are a deterrent; no more, no less.

    Step 1. Identify the thief
    Step 2. Follow (tracking/detect) the thief
    Step 3. Annoy the thief


    After getting bored after a week... delete the character and wonder to yourself, "wtf was I thinking?"
    Then make a thief.

    Stealing and pk'n I don't think make people want to leave, its just the few rotten cabbages, that don't count for the lot.

    I'm purty sure most people who "leave" do so for personal reasons that has nothing to do with Server Mechanics or Player Behavior. Most people (who leave) go too hard for a short sprint and burn out, or in some cases come to terms with the fact that they no longer prefer these risky mechanics. I am sure there are cases where people have actually been driven away by others, but you can't regulate douchebagery with any sort of game mechanics.

    Normally I'd say screw socialism and Darwinism both, but I get where the OP's coming from. The problem is that there will always be players who disregard any such guidelines. Pking and stealing would have to be bannable during that period. Is it that easy?

    When I found out about the 'justice memorial graveyard' the other night, that was really a new one.
    whether its a small few of community or staff who've been involved at some of the proceedings there, thats the community I would like to be a part of.

    Stealing, pk'n, loot'n, whatever fun you might have.
    I can't really be part of calling a truce, as i don't generally run around having that sort of fun, but without a little dust up every now and then I'm not sure it would be 'ultima'

    To anyone that doesn't know what it is, look into it.
