I actually follow every one of your posts, save it, and set up an alarm clock on my phone to go off 3 hours before you win any auctions. Strange how I still miss nearly all of them.
It still happens way too often as far as I'm concerned ... unsporting, sir, unsporting. I actually bid on very little. Now I'm going off to sulk
I didn't realize it had a few hours to go, but I probably would have bid even if I had. I bid on things when I see them. Since you don't believe auctions should end when the seller claims they do, when do you think an auction should de facto end? 2 hours and 47 minutes is apparently too short. What about 3 hours? 5 hours? 7 hours?
Oh, personally, anything I bid on should end as soon as I place a bid I wouldn't bitch about it to you, if it hadn't happened before ... in my experience you are the only person who seems to use UOR auction-sniper and it is daaammmmnnnneeedddd frustrating. I try not to jump in when it gets late, no rule not to, but a kind of unspoken gentleman's agreement (at least in my imagination). Mike's about to win (or maybe has already won) lots of metal ingots here ... I was tempted, but wouldn't think of trying to grab them ... just a difference in attitude. Anyway, forgive the whinging, I enjoy chatting with you and you have been generous to the library in the past ... I'm letting off steam
