I know some single player/client players, people that have one or two chars. I can`t say i am because i have so many PVM chars that i had to build a second account, maybe is not needed another server... have or play with multiple windows is an option..

as long as it was legitimately owned and ran by the same owner and staff of UOR i think it would be a great idea being i spent my last 4 years of retail on siege in Undead and Shadowclan Orcs.

And then i read Thelax's post and i more so have to agree with that individual though

    [The Siege Blessing
    • Players on the Siege Perilous shard can bless one item of any kind at a time. Use the character context menu (left-click on your character,) select the option, then target the item to be blessed. The blessed item will remain with your character when you die, rather than remaining on your corpse, and cannot be stolen.
    • Unlike a bless deed, Siege bless is not fixed, using the context menu and targeting a different item will transfer the bless to it.
    • Items can not be insured on Siege Perilous shard.
    • Clothing bless deeds can not be applied to items which have magical properties.]

I Believe this was implemented after the AOS expansion when everyone got one personal item bless deed per account, and the option to use it from a menu was a good bit after that.

Item bless deeds before this were for players from the beta or alpha and beta of UO though if i remember correctly or maybe from the noob reward system of old

I would only support this if it was limited to one account per IP. Anything more would be pointless.

    That was the idea.

When I first started here the 3 account set up with15 characters & 15 houses was fucking rad. But now I see what a minefield that can be and I honestly think it does more harm then good.

I like the idea that everyone you encounter would be the total summary of a player.
Fame titles would mean something again. If you saw an illustrious Lord farming somewhere you would know that the likelihood of them killing you is slim to none. Where as here it doesn't mean shit. They could have 2 reds waiting at home to recall in and piss in your cereal.

Houses would be placed with care and consideration, real estate would be bountiful and every house would be a persons everything.

Guilds would be meaningful, you'd need to posse up for training circles, you'd need other players to help you advance.

Templates that are overlooked here would be viable again as people crammed to get everything they needed into one single character.

You wouldn't have botting, ghost botting, scouts, tripple boxing, factioners would be out farming silver, and if you saw a red you'd know that they're fucking serious - that's their one character, everything they've worked on, running around potentially in stat. Bounty boards would be a genuine marker of an individuals bad assery. Rune libraries would be a prestigious community asset and the owner would be an absolute G because that's their only house and they're letting you come in!

All the fun of the first person to GM blacksmithy and start churning out GM weapons, or the first person to be able to make a runebook or sell a full spellbook. All those things we take for granted here.

Not to mention the explosion of activity in game and on the trade forums.

And I hear what everyone's saying about the population dip but personally I feel like it would actually be the opposite.

Would you rather a universe where there are 200 people actively running around in one place or a universe where there was 100 in one place and 500 in another but all under the same roof.

I think you have to look at thing that shan't be named, why do you think there was such a huge exodus? Was it for greener grass or was it for new challenges and opportunities? Because I don't think many people genuinely believed the grass was greener, they just wanted something new to do and had we had UO:R(Seige) I think we'd of retained and accommodated a legit portion of the playerbase that we lost.

If I ever hit the Powerball someday I will be hiring a staff to create my dream shard. UO Braveheart: The first melee only no magery shard.

UOB will be play to pay you will earn $0.01 USD per player kill and get paid out via PayPal at the end of every month.

The warrior with the most kills at the end of each month will also be mailed a personally engraved battle ready sword as a trophy to honor their bravery.

Also will have monthly motivational speeches live streamed/in game at Brit throne room by celebrity war heroes such as Mel Gibson, Kit Harington and Pax Romain.

Hoping to see all you M'lords and M'ladys there one day.

I would love it. It would bring more people to UOR also. There are always what ifs. The VPN issue is the same as the real Siege, people had multiple accounts there too.

Only real issue I see is $$$ for hardware and staff resources. Everything else would benefit UOR, I think.

Serious question... Why do you continue to come to this forum if these are your thoughts? I’m trying to understand why somebody who clearly doesn’t care for the ways things are, continues to put themselves through the dissatisfaction of this particularfree game when there are literally dozens and dozens of other free shards.

You’re either just an all around miserable person or a troll.

ETA - I’ve really gotta stay in the trade forum. The rest of the board is just whiners.

    Sarcasm my man.

The population is stretched thin, I’d be down for a shard wipe and starting over this way.

I mean this population is down to the true players now anyways. Sure you’d lose a few guys like labeler and the guys who’s goal is to be Captain Morgan rich... but you gain those guys back in new players who enjoy the chance to start fresh.

You’re right. I didn’t. Your post was stupid. So I posed my own reply to the original thread. Don’t feel neglected, feel unloved.

Yea I'd kick in for extra server space. I wouldn't mind if that was a caveat of playing there.
