    i literally don't understand this sentence.

    the things you mention in this comment, while commendable, are entirely beside the point. in short, it is easy to grow two tomato plants that someone else planted for you, but your players deserve a flourishing garden.

    edit for perceived negativity:
    i do love this server. it is the best server available. the comments above express my frustration for being technically able to fix a great deal of technical issues with the server and its mechanics but not being allowed to.

    As for access to the Renaissance code as a whole I will always protect it vigorously. No one has ever been prohibited from offering solutions to problems or submitting code to help the server. However since we are re-creating an Era of UO from 1998/1999 coding and development are some of the simplest tasks. Its the research, discussions and testing that are always more important to provide the stability the players expect.
