About a year ago, I joined this shard with a few goals in mind. One was to own this amazing new house called the "fortress". And another was to try out these crafting Bulk Order Deeds and see if I could make myself a suit of Phoenix Armor and a Valorite Runic Hammer. The fortress ended up being easier than I thought, but the smith BOD game was much harder. Along the way, I pestered many people on a very regular basis to see if they had any ingots or smith BODs to sell me. I'd estimate I flipped about 12,000 BODs at this point, and who knows how many from others I've thumbed through in books. Finally, however, I was able to complete the goals. A couple of weeks ago, a full suit of phoenix armor: ...and today, a valorite runic hammer: As I mentioned above, there were MANY people I pestered along the way to help in this quest. I felt so bad about this that I began keeping a log of the dates on which I asked people about their ingot stocks and/or their BOD stocks, to ensure I wouldn't bug people more than once per week. On the plus side however, this has allowed me to be able to give a very big THANK YOU to all of the following people. We've had our challenges and disagreements in valuation but I feel we've both helped each other fairly, all told. Congratulations on your milestones. I only had one and you know when that happened.

Thanks all. I am accidentally blocking where the verite runic hammer would be, if I had one, so the setup is not complete yet. But I am one BOD short, so perhaps soon. Ah, this one isn't going to be rented, though it would be fun trying to devise terms. As for valuations, any honest valuation goes both ways... so by definition, either my valuation is considered fair by the other party, or even better for them, there was one side or the other that they'd value more than me. Wodan, given your contribution to this avatar, and that your English is probably better than mine, I look to you for inspiration on this front!
