The end came. The murderer was laid to rest, but not by anyone’s hands but his own… After all it was a required sacrifice that he had to make to ensure his resurrection after death. It was what the witch told him… The only problem was that Cestius Flavius, would not return as his former self, but a monster. The witch damned him when it came to that. It was part of his measures in case of death; to be reborn again and continue his dark deed upon Sosaria. He had to collect a heart, a liver, and a brain before his demise it was what the witch requested. However, he only thought the purpose of those was for a concoction. The witch actually intended to replace his vital organs with those of his victims. A tortured soul he would become feeling their agony and hatred for him when he would be reborn.

The witch appeared at the cottage after the Paws burned it down. There his body lay in the rubble and ashes, burned and mutilated by the explosion and the fire. She dragged it out slowly realizing that her work was cut out for her… after all the explosion left his body, well… in pieces. She laughed and said you will become more than just a monster you will be hideous to the world. She threw the body parts in her bag and departed to her lair. When she arrived she started her dark magic with candles, drawings in blood, and chanting. She pulled out the organs and a stitching needle and began her bloody work. She worked through the night until she had a manageable body in front of her… She sighed to herself feeling the relief of her work finally being accomplished. The only issue is she knew the monster would need not just to find new organs, but new body parts over time. The rot would continue and being mangled was not exactly helping. Also that because he died in the fire it would be his greatest weakness. Soon she said out loud to the monster below her soon you will rise again... Monster... She cackled as she wandered her lair.

The ritual was almost complete... the witch needed to wait for a night of lightning to occur for the final transformation to takes its place. The body was sewn and the organs were in place it was just a waiting game. In the mean time the witch performed rituals to make him strong and talented, he would become more formidable than ever before. Even the most armored orc would not stand a chance against him.

The clouds came in with the heavy wind and moisture. The witch knew it was the perfect time to complete her spell, the entire time she had been chanting the rituals to give the murderer some of his strength back, but there was no more waiting. The clouds lit up brightly for a brief moment... lightning... followed by the roll of thunder. It was definetly the time who knew when another storm like this would occur. The witch attached the table to which the body was attached to the pulley system and began to pull on the chains holding it. Higher the body rose higher and higher until it was exposed outside of the lair. The witch spoke the words "In Jux Sanct" on the body to protect it from the burns of the lightning strike. All that was needed was the surge to revitalize this heaping pile of a corpse. Almost upon this moment a light occured and the air seemed to part in an instant the surge of energy struck the body tossing the witch backwards. Gasping for air the witch looked up noticing the twitching on the body... "he is alive," she spoke to her self. She struggled to her feet and charged to the body as fast as possible to cast the final spell on him. She whispered in his ear the final chant and gave him the knowledge of his life and his new wretched existence. The body seemed to become enraged and attempted to toss upwards, but to the witch's delight he was still too sluggish. She cackled as she left the lair for good knowing that soon he was to regain fully his strength and hatred.

Months had passed the corpse of Cestius grew stronger eating the remnants of what the witch left behind and the occassional rat. He seemed to learn how to heal himself more efficiently and soon he would be able to swing his weapon far more efficiently, but he could not contain himself he scribbled on a note his despise to the Paws and wandered out in the night looking for the village. When he stumbled upon it weak he noticed the dimlight in the distance. He slowly limped in noticing its sleeping residence's sounds. He clinged to the mailbox and shoved in his note and returned home slowly leaving ooze upon his departure.

Much time had passed he was no longer shaking with weakness, but towering in strength. He equipped his blood drenched bone armor and his magical axe feeling the weight of it all... noticing that he felt stronger in it. He aimed the axe at a nearby platemail tunic and threw the axe at it with devastating results to the tunic. It pierced all the way through the damage was done. Now he was ready and would take his to vengeance upon those whom sought to suppress him before.
