Played with Zilbond's Wrath(ZW) and The Vietcong(VC) when PKing. On PR servers I usually played with Chaotic Soldiers or GoD.

Got my start on Napa even though I was East Coast (its where the friends who got me into the game were playing).

You haven't lived until you've killed rabbits, skinned them for meat, and then sold the meat to NPC butchers for 2g a pop.

Hey, I played Catskills same time and I think I helped capture COM's first town, it was hard with the dual entry. I was Shadowlords prior to joining COM though.

I played:

I was usually with Jimmy - Fencer/Archer, we were both in a guild that helped COM capture the town, Crimson II sounds familiar. I can't remember my guild though but we feuded with them next to my property over a log cabin from when housing placement went live. We eventually joined forces and did a lot of pvp together. Do you remember a Minax guild that was pretty big/good? I think it was Exiled or some crap like that.

I do remember Minax being dominant, seems like Arkon (or something close to that) was in charge. The COM base was so terrible and so easily exploited, it was really difficult corrupting those sigils. So many failures prior..!

Overwhelmingly US shards here. I sensed it with most posts coming either early morning or late night in Europe.

Yew Militia was a favourite. Someone started to design a website along the old lines: http://www.guardsmenmilitia.com. If I remember aright it also had a solo piper as background, very atmospheric. But I mostly played a smith, and hung out at Silverleaf, with German players: http://www.village-of-silverleaf.de. Great, but I was a lousy role-player.

I rerolled people a lot, even on Seige but if I have a 'good guy' and want to be otherwise I would delete and reroll.
