Just mouse and MS paint is like a Dp'd katana, it levels the playing field.

My measurement of time was about 3pm to 3am for folks that don't calculate time with razor skill increases.
Fiddling with the f'n mouse mouse, face close to screen because pixels.

I actually hesitated to post mine. Should've waited til the end of the contest, hahaha. I was scared it would push people to go further and I guess I was right. I don't know if I have the patience to work on something even more detailed hahaha. Probably best if I enhance what I've already done.

Pushing is what makes us get stronger. Stronger together my friend, stronger together.
I just wish I could colour so nice like @Lyta . The spray can makes the paint can a stinker.

Hah, I purposely connected lines so i could use the paint bucket everywhere I fiddled with the spray can and all I had the patience for was the pavement.

This contest is so much win, so many laughs and its nice to see how much talent we have on this shard at the same time.

Personally, I don't really like color in paint. Makes it look .. cheaper? (Sorry) but then again I might just not be used to it. I'd rather fo with super detailed black and white dotwork. Has a more stunning effect IMO

Hahaha, no disrespect here. Your colouring is on point. What version of paint are you using? I wasn't even aware you could layer in ms paint.. would have made things so much easier.

I didn't use layers, I abused color matching with the fill tool and curved lines and used undo.. a LOT. Its the MSPaint that is with Windows 10. But thank you, I wanted to do a comic so the vector style coloring was the best choice. I would have bashed my head against the wall trying to shade multiple panels with a tool like paintbrush or pencil.



Paint also has "Transparent Selection" where a solid color of your choosing is transparent within the selection. Its an option in the drop down for the select tool. I chose white and it's how I got the mask copied and pasted over top of the character.

I'll say only one thing, the weekend is coming, and I will be spending it with my mouse untill my eyes bleed...
