How to never get your plat stolen, a guide, by Cynic:

Step 1:

(Make sure it's heavy enough, throw a hally in there if it's not)

Step 2:


Step 3:


Step 4:

When plat drops to your pack it will automagically get organized into your locked container.

Note: Don't keep pots/bandages in the locked chest, when it's locked you can't access anything inside of it (except reg use). Also, you can keep the chest open and drag the gump to the corner of your screen so you can throw other loot into it too.

That's called poor image compression.

I've run into Dimas a few times in the last coupla days. He's fast, but he couldn't elude Victor's ax of justice.

He did manage to catch me in a monologue and stole his head back from me.

Haha I didn't realize that was you Jupiter! Victor is a formidable opponent for sure.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to take many pictures from yesterdays Harrowers. This first picture was taken prior to me dying immediately when the Tentacles. Coincidentally I am positioned behind the 2 men I targeted at the second Harrower (another 20 plat steal, no pictures).

After dying from the Tentacles, I res'd up and returned under a new disguise to continue the Journey. I was able to secure a steal from Val at the first Harrower for 20 plat and proceeded to hop her moongate to Minoc where I ran for the sea.

I often refer to myself in the third person when playin alt characters, so you wouldn't be the first person I've confused

In light of @Cynic 's guide on protecting your platz, I will demonstrate how to steal da platz . Images from the 3rd Harrower. I didn't see @Jupiter unfortunately

How to steal the Platz, a guide, by Dimas:

Step 1:

Acquire a suitable disguise, a simple deathrobe may not be enough to fly under the radar while waiting for the Harrower.

Step 2:

Position yourself within the cluster****. I like to be around multiple alt characters as you usually get a second/third shot at your steals.

Step 3:

After your successful steal, its time for the getaway. There will be a dozen gates around you being opened. Hide and jump one. If its to someone's house (depending on who it is), you may want to go back through and try another.

PS: I am tired of this sh!t on the field: tamers in general and people recalling their alts in order to help out. I will concentrate on PKing them from now on... yes, I am shifting my focus and leaving the field stealing.

I went to Serpent's Hold to see if I might try my luck. There was a woman standing near the bank with two dragons by her side but after watching her for a few moments, I could not detect any movement from her. In a daze, I suppose. I stealthed my way up to her and took a look into her backpack. Nothing much, some gold. I was bored so I decided to take it.

At that very moment, a man on horse appeared and my victim snapped back to life. I ran and hid but before I could stealth away, the woman revealed me. I was immediately eaten by two dragons. I waited my two minutes near the Healers and ran back to where I had been eaten. My corpse was bare. The woman with dragons and the man on horseback were still at the bank. Then I had an idea.

"Criminal! You've stolen my money!" I yelled at her.

She seemed confused. I did not want to give her too much time to think so I continued. "I've been working in the garment district all month, saving up for a vacation. Why not visit Serpent's 'old, I says to myself. I been 'ere no longer than a few minutes and I've already been unjustly accused of criminal acts, killed, and looted! It's 'cause the guards don't like my clothes. So what if they're little more than rags!"

I saw the woman's confusion turn to pity. She apologized to me and offered me back the gold which I humbly accepted. Once far enough away, I thought I'd sneak back over to the woman and the man on horseback. On the subject of thieves, I heard her say, "I'd rather they be like that than Dimas."

Heya Alice, you don't need any screens with that great story telling. Hope to read more from your adventures and wish you better marks next time.

Sadly, I would only have cheerless stories to share about tamer-lameness, 3-account abuses and even RP toons with epic fails. So keep it up, it certainly improves my mood.

Is the RP toon dig cause I killed you on a boat the other night when you stole Jupiters whispering rose? Cause if so, not sorry
