UO:Renaissance - Thieving perfected (ongoing thread)

You guys know that anything goes was in reference to the duels. i.e. 7x duels, pots, wands etc.

that doesn't mean the rules of the event center should have changed. If so I expect we will see a lot more disarm thieves in future 1v1 tournaments

How about disarm thieves in the ctf instances?

Seems like a quick and easy way to make some money.

Guys - this is a great thread about great heists. Can we take the debate about this episode somewhere else?

oh wow, on first look i thought you grabbed that pouch and that it had an ethy in it

I hopped into the event gate to check out @Majestic 's 2v2 PvP Tournament and lo and behold, the first thing I notice is an afk Oblivious, staying true to his name:




He didn't seem to have much regard for this beautiful treasure map, so it's mine now:

Little did I know Oblivious was Majestic and the map was the event prize, causing quite a fallout across Sosaria:



Against my roguish inclinations, I decided to return the map lest I be shunned from the community, though he did not want it back. Also, he had some powerful mutual friends close to me plea on his behalf. And sometimes, it's all about who you know.

@Dash you should have kept it. What we're his "powerful" friends going to do? Send you a angry discord message?

I don't know who it was. I mean it was a good steal. At the end of the day I cant be mad at something like that. Its fel. It was my fault I had the map on that toon in the first place. You live you learn. Honestly I have the map back but in the end. I think id rather him have it. It added spunk to the night. Plus it was a hell of a steal.

My comment was 100% joking btw. It was a map, not even close to cause for a nerf. The steal was fair and square and nothing for anyone to get mad about and even Majestic reacted like a champ about it, I dont even know the guy. Next time he'll put his map in an armoire hopefully
