We are up to 3,134 labels placed! WOOOHOOOO! A guy named willeh just contributed some 600+ labels. Thank you so much Willeh, between you and gatsby, you all are really pushing this project forward WAY faster then projected. You all rock!
So now that you have a pattern, is it as simple as just finding all of the ore-generating tiles and applying the appropriate ore color symbol there?
While I think your intentions are well met, and I have nothing against you, I personally think this is BS. I do understand that a lot of people these days just absolutely must have their hands held thru everything, and couldn't figure out anything on their own, if their life depended on it, but ffs...I don't know what else to say...this is BS and you should keep it to yourself. It's bad enough we have razor to play the game, or automate just about everything we need to do. I mean fk it...lets make public every location of Oak while we're at it. Why buy oak and premium ore from the little piss ant no body people who scrape to make a living in UO when all we have to do is pull out our trusty little "I'm a rainbow fairy who can't figure out shit on my own Manual". While we are at it, lets just make vendors that hand out free leather and feathers. You're making this too easy mode.
I think you may have misunderstood what I am doing here. I am not mining for people. They have to go out and mine on their own, or buy from little piss-ants. There are already at the servers hands many rune libraries with book after book of ore vein locations of every color. I am just taking that to an Elhorno level. And truthfully I could care less about the server. I enjoy writing guides about UO and taking on large sandbox type of projects to keep me occupied in my endgame. I'm gunna release this to the masses because it makes me happy and there is NOTHING you can do to stop me! Also, I imagine once released like 20-30 people are gunna take the effort to download the file, the icons, and set them up in uoam. It's not like this comes included with the game installer.
