Congratulations to Lambdas, the first Renaissance Spring Faire Champion!

I will try to host one again as soon as possible, thanks again to everyone who came out, this community is the cherry on top of the amazing cake Tela and staff have baked for us all!

This looked like a great event! I should have a toon ready for your next one!

I think that in the future the event will be broken up into 4 mini events, one for each weapon skill.

I had to make them back to back in one go because of unexpected RL stuff but the next one will likely be spread over 2 - 4 days depending on participation.

I actually rushed to get it going this weekend as its the first weekend of Spring but the next one will be much more meticulously organized and executed.

I will likely open registration 2 weeks in advance and close it a couple days before the event to give me an accurate idea of participation, how to distribute the events and the points. (And how much plat to get ready as rewards )

I think the biggest thanks should go to Chris who set up gates, trophies and even an Ankh and created this world and specifically the event system to make it possible for all of us to do this kind of stuff.

It was a lot of fun, thank you for hosting Wise! Also, thank you to the other competitors who rp'd along with me and the spectators who did so with Xeg. Amazing community!

Indeed! During player hosted events such as these I have typically dialed down my aggressions towards Urk-kind and only entered into fights after both parties have clearly consented to battle (in RP form of course).

However, outside of these player hosted events, it's complete impromptu!

Also, as a general rule we don't loot Urks except for maybe a few trophy's, but this is in no means a requirement and all Paws villagers should be aware that if we die during an Urk fight there is no preventing of 3rd parties from swooping in and as such we completely expect our things to perish if we perish. The only difference between being drylooted or not being looted is how long the specific encounter will last.
