When I made my peace dexxer, I started her out with macing, then everyone told me macing sucked so I dropped it and took up fencing. I regret it but dropping a weapon skill to train another aint happening. Fencing weps are too fast, and I firmly believe the slower the weapon, the longer the mob stays pacified. I'm not certain of this, just something that I believe. I also believe that the admins will make dexxers viable in pvp again. We all need hope, it's a good thing to have, even when deep down we know it's bs.

Edit: Well actually he just confirmed this in the video lol

    Haha yeah good vid, thanks.
Well if slower weapons help keeping mobs docile I'll go with an halberd or something!

Halberd is a good peacemaking weapon but the war hammer has crushing blow.

My first char was a LJ peace dexxer. Its really good, since single axes do tons of damage, but there is no room for magery.
Now this was not really a problem, more an annoyance. However with the gold i was making, it was trivial to fund the reags for my mage.
I think the template needs to have magery on it, as recall is really needed.

If I get the nerve to retrain melee skill, I'll go swords simply becuz of the wide variety of weps. But I really wanted to be a macer and got talked out of it. Something about the war hammer that gives you power. Also sick fencing weps are so damn rare here.

This. If I were any good with magery, this would be my go to template for pvp. This temp is badass but everyone says the hybrid isn't really viable here. Changes need to be made.

I've heard the opposite. It is viable, but not the best. As people want any edge they can get, they'll go for the best. A stun mage is just the best for field fighting. Offensive and defensive stuns are pretty nice.

    My personal favorite

    GM Wep skill(your preference!)
    GM Tactics
    GM Anatomy
    GM Healing
    GM Music
    GM Provo
    GM Mage

    95/90/40

Magery for utility and Provo allows for you to hit the more congested locations so that weapon never stops swinging! Think of it as gold per swing!

    Update:

Adding music and peace might have been the best decision I've made so far. Haha

The only thing I would change is this... I personally would either go 100 or 90 str... I don't see any benefit in 95.

So I tried the whole boogity boogity thing, ran up in there and got ganked by 3 evil mages at once... all dumped on my ass. Rough out here with no resist. Soon as I got there it was like they had their spells precasted

The trick is to use walls/doors to block LOS. You need to pop your head out, peace one, then duck back real quick until your cooldown is refreshed. Rinse and repeat. If you watch closely, Wylwrk does just that in the video.

Makes hunting so much easier. Here's where's what I worked on so far.
