Which skills should I turn down to stop fizzle recalling?

My knight is now 6 * GM and have 10 magery and he now fizzle a lot. So which skills are least important? Which should I turn down if I now want to fzzle less??

• Healing
• Resisting Spells
• Tactics
• Swordmanship
• Mining
• Lumberjacking

I'd say drop tactics by 10-15 points ( you can get that back with a +10/+15 weapon). Also dropping 5 points from healing shouldn't do much of a difference.

But isnt tactics important for how much damage I do? What about Anatomy??

Both tactics and anatomy give you bonus to damage. Unlike tactics, anatomy cannot get bonus points from the weapon's tact modifier.

Are you trying to cast the recall with the spell or the recall scroll ?

Scroll, well the blue gem inside the Runebook. I get approx 10 fizzle now before recalling. I had to decrese magic during the resist event and now its very annoying

Ah. I have 31.5 on my dexxer. It still fizzles sometimes but it's nowhere close to what you are experiencing.

personally my battleminer looks very much the same but i droppped LJ instead, the damage bonus has a huge case of diminishing returns, so losing out onLJ wont hurt all that much, personally i only have 40 LJ and 60 magery to no rely on scrolls at all. 40 LG still does 4 bonus dmg, 100 "only" does 8 i believe...

If you're fully GM Lumberjacking, the bonus is +9 damage (the calculation gives a "free" extra 1 damage for fully leveling the skill)

So the difference is at 40 LJ, any axe you wield has an added Exceptional equivalent in bonus damage; at GM any axe has an added Vanquishing equivalent bonus.

But @Shosara, I do like to chop trees as a LJ really, not only to have it as a fighting bonus.

you only need 80 to heal poison ......just a thought
