Asking for your opinion, which template has the highest survivability against other players (as many as possible at the same time). No offensive power required, but good to have. Thanks. :)

Nothing easier than to kill tamers. I am considering this scenario: one man vs the whole shard!

@BIGSHOW: I considered a similar template. But how about dropping med to 40 and anat/wrestling to 80 each for additional GM hiding?

This would result in this template: GM Magery, healing, inscription, parry, hiding, 80 wrestling, 80 anatomy, 40 meditation.

    I'm unclear on the situation.

If you can fight back? Magery, Meditation, Taming, Animal Lore, Vet, Inscription, Wrestling, 2 dragons and a nightmare.

Dropped in a tournament box or CTF? Magery, Meditation, Wrestling, Anatomy, Healing, Resist, Inscription.

Dropped in a dungeon while people try to come and find you? Probably still the above, unless your pursuers don't have Tracking in which case probably Hiding, Stealth, Magery, Anatomy, Healing, Eval Int, Meditation.

Parry and spells don't go well together and with multiple attackers you're probably going to spend the entire time casting heals and cures, so I'd recommend against that. And 80 wrestling means getting hit 10% more than GM wrestling, which seems like a bad idea for a paltry meditation gain.

It's all about the escape in the case someone tracks me. Preferably not fighting at all. Just hiding. But when being tracked, I need to survive and get away.

Keyword for the scenario I am thinking of is Running Man (like in the Stephen King Novel, less the Arnold kills everybody movie).

Heal / Hiding / Anatomy / 4x Mage (use def. wrestling)
That would be my go-to template propably

    Other ideas:
    Heal / Scribe / Anatomy / 4x Mage
    Heal / Parry / Anat / 4x Mage

    Heal / Stun Mage / 5x
    Scribe / Stun / 5x

Thats what came into my mind..

Yeah Erza, that's covering most of the templates I am thinking about.

Just, how to shake off a red when he is on screen with you?

For pure running i can garantuee that the combo with Healing and Hiding is awesome.
(use badage, hide... or hide when out of LOS, or at cave entrances/exits... soo much survivability, but you are propably never going to kill someone)

Scribe has its benefits too.. its very good in a lot of situations imo

why would you take wrestling over resist? Pks that you actually need to worry about aren't going to be dexxers, and your inscription will only protect you from 2 spells before you're eating 40 dmg ebolts.

Tamers are already incredibly difficult to kill if you play decently. I don't typically carry pots even and I often waste multiple pks when they come in groups, it's all about how you play it.

Quick escape properly timed recall macro
Personally I use a macro that casts recall and targets my rune book specifically, this enables me to easily change the recall point to any rune in the book by just setting it to the default rune

I think in this situation, recall isn't an option.

No recall allowed. The idea is running (riding) man not recalling man. It's supposed to be for fun. ;)

Herding, Camping, Cooking, Taste ID, Begging, you round it up with wrestling and Fishing.

    Thats a true survivor template!

Well if your going all defence and no offense with the idea of running, you could try
Heal, 30 anat, 70 mage, resists, hiding, music, peace, scribe
Since id guess you would be a 90 45 90 build your aids wouldn't be your main heals and if your running getting hit with a weapon wouldnt be an often thing and if you peace all I think you can hide right away

If you don't have wrestling, a single dexer will drop you more often than not. I guess most of my experience doing this as a dexer was on a prior shard, which had magic reflect items, but a 6xGM dexer here with Inscription for the 7th skill would get the job done just as well. At 120 health a dexer can shrug off the pets until you're dead, and against a kryss or katana your only chance is to just chain mini-heals and hope all three pets firebreath.

I don't know how common dex PKs are here, but I didn't understand (still don't) the actual situation. Figured it was some kind of event or CTF question, in which case there's plenty of dexers.

Also IIRC, it's actually four spells to drop a GM Mage/GM Scribe's reflect, right? 15 spell levels, so that would be 4 Mana Drains. Gives you more than enough time to decide what to do.
