these items had a certain number of charges on them. Maybe if they are limited to teleport and invisibility to start and no stamina or strength? Or maybe throw some on test center and see what gives there and let people make their decisions based upon the testing that goes there? Teleport and invisibility rings would be a nice blast from the past. i never was to hot on the strength and stamina personally. There were numerous items such as cloaks bracelets hats etc. but just jewelry in general would be sweet imo
I would just love to see bracelets called: 'a watch' being craftable or rare drops, that display in game time.
Teleport rings used to make pvp extraordinarily fun back in days of old. Total gingerbread man build. It made doing treasure maps ridiculously worth it.
What about stats-only jewelry? Instead of all that BS of faster casting, luck etc etc, let's make something like bracelet +5 +10 and +15 on str, dex and int What do you think about it?
faster casting and and all that crap was from the AOS expansion, aka the death of UO as we knew it not this era so that is already out of the question no worries there . This is about invisibility, dex strength clothing/jewelry really. i personally don't see a issue in items that have timed charges on them for something +5 or invisibility also the charges only lasted around 10-20 sec each i forget its been so long. but its still not a big deal not to have them imo invisibility rings and items is the class of items i personally root for
I think they are OP esp for pvp If a player used the items correctly they were virtually invincible on uosa given my observations and experience I did make tons of gold selling them thus fishing up mibs was very lucrative
cooking, herding, fishing, carpentry, tailor, tinker, vetinary, taming, lore and id... plus 20 15 10 5.... wowser .. a cook cant fight.... peace and provo cold be questionable... but all and all trades could benefit from magic jewelry.... whoa a new trade. a jeweler, then all my diamonds would be worth something.... im for a magical jewelers convention...
