With all the space on the map and in T2A this could seriously be improved.

The overland spawn in general I believe is actually higher than regular. But the overland spawn in general is also ... you know, a little dull.
Random chance of ettin lord, or Ogre mage or what have you on any spawn! viva la revolucion!
Caves are great and all, but I like seeing trees when i'm kill'n my ettins.

(not like you tiny dragon, stump lookers - this is why the only good spawns are in dungeons,
*exception for champ spawns in t2a, and it funnels the populace to give you something to do)

(Besides, then people would make use of their com crystals in their GMF hoarding houses) Adds 'depth' to the gameplay.

    Viva la Revolucion!
Into the Dungeon with evil men, The people has risen we're free again
Come out of the closet, Come out of the hole,
Come out of the woodwork, Come into the fold

Rebels and fighters, a license to kill, Unite with the bandits down from the hills
Open your windows, Open your doors,
Open your minds, To a freedom of thought

Raise our voices, raise our flag, Smash the symbols of the life never had
Long live the symbols, Long live the scheme,
Long live our hopes, Long live the dream

Dance in the streets at the carnival, Celebrate - the victory now,
Drink the wine from the rich man's cask, This revolution won't be the last!

There are several locations that could use some monsters to livin things up.
Several ruins which could house some undead, demons, ratmen, orcs, etc.
anything would be better than empty ruins.. zzz

Good for PVE, PVM & PVP! :)

Some next level stuff would be spawns that changed over time. Based on season or to help balance the economy.
Orcs in the spring, trolls n' ogres in the summer, undead in the fall and demons in the winter.
Or demons 1 week and ratmen the next week.

Dungeons are ALIVE during December. Why? We all know why.

I think we need different kind of spawns ALL year long, and not just December. Lets get the dungeons and overlord popping!

I understand it can't be Christmas spawn all year long.. but why not add other stuff with similar rare drop chances that give us PvErs incentive to hunt them? Even if it takes too much time to code spawn like Christmas spawn.. then make a monster of the week or month that has a rare chance to drop similar items that we hunt for during Christmas.

If there are amazing items like the scrolls throughout the year, PvErs will be out way more searching for those sweet pixels.

There are numerous posts about this. One of them is even mine from about three years ago.

    lich forest
    troll spawn
    ratman valley
    fire temple
    reaper valley
    hedge maze
    numerous orc forts

sure we could do with a more high end spawn, what spawn and where?

For about 2 years I was promoting an improvement to the NPC camps/towers system. Could make it pretty simple really:

In 25-40% of the camps replace one NPC with a random mini-boss or mid-level holiday creature (i.e. Revenant, Cave Troll, Fluffy VI, Dark Elf Ranger). If it is one of these creatures, have it flag red.

In 5-10% of the camps replace one NPC with a boss or high level holiday creature (i.e. Azure Dragon, Efreet Sultan, Black Knight, Grinch). If it is one of these very hard creatures, have it flag orange to warn off newer players.

I haven't run around t2a enough to see if NPC camps/Evil Mage towers spawn there but if they don't just sprinkle some random mini-boss/boss spawns around.

I think this would really add to a sense of adventure/randomness in the game and make just exploring more fun again. I guarantee I'd play more if there were random mini-bosses in unexpected locations in the overworld.

This thread's about the overland, and personally I want to see these things out there randomly (or semi-randomly) instead of being centered around a campable area (Yeah, camps can be camped, but at least there are like a hundred of those). Honestly I'd prefer there be random baddies in unexpected places all over the map. I want to find a random Fluffy outside Yew in August, or a Mountain Troll patrolling solo among the Delucia Mines.

But just for our information, what awaits the adventurous traveler at this particular "dungeon brazier" you mention?
