A year from, when forts sell for double this, there's going to be a lot of regret.
It was just a couple of months ago forts were going for 5-8M. We're looking at 10-16M now.. it's only going to get worse.

Who has 15 mil right now though that doesn't have a fort already.

Kane, for one. Perhaps he found one since losing out on the one I was selling, though.

Lots of vets out there have been satisfied playing out of keeps or towers. Doesn't change my argument that it may be too late (and too expensive) if you don't get yourself into a fort now versus later.

Don't forget that lots of players who won rares in the anni contest or found sandals/dye in their bags joined the 1% on this shard almost overnight.

This only pertains to Forts in primo spots though.

If you look for anything in the swamp ghettos, you're not going to get 10 mill.

The market is only what everyone makes it. People don't need to pay 10-16mill. Sure gold increases on the server...but if the only people with enough money to buy houses that expensive don't want to/don't need to...then they won't ever sell.

The house you sold also had a moat coupon that may have been valued as much as 2.5m. And what you were selling was from the look of it going to be a secure house once that moat was used. This one has these suspended tiles that are secure for el horno because he placed them, but completely unsecure to anyone else because el horno has them marked.

Yeah I've got it, but I know better than to buy from someone notorious for looting houses. Also why would I want a house where said nefarious individual has runes on all the z axis tiles?

I'll put my good name on the line here. I know this fellow El Horno has been involved in all sorts of shenanigans, but then again, aren't we all? Perhaps he runs his shenanigans different than the rest of us, but I would never consider him one to sell a high value property with intent to keep any runes he has access to.

He is not one to use deceit to gain trust at a personal level.

Also he immediately reported the bug for entering courtyards. I mean, immediately, after it was discovered. You can hold onto that for as long as you'd like, but it was immediately reported.

In closing, this trade, for whomever would offer the winning bid, will get a house as safe as can be provided regardless of who the purchaser is and whether or not there are any grudges.

This is true. I guess I should have been more clear.

Regret will set in once moats are available for all and you don't have a fort by then. I'm unsure if they will work in keeps from the onset, but I haven't read anywhere that they will be available in anything other than a fort/castle.
