This bum is gating to popular spots around the map and baiting people to come into the gate. I fell victim last night but I was able to get revenge by killing off the flea infested Ghost.

Gate opened like 10x in front of the shop. I haven't died like this for a long time...it was a good reminder not to do it, lol.

I had bad luck on mine, I have a macro to go into gate and it prioritized his over mine somehow. Was my own fault, so oh well

Sounds like these 3 brave warriors deserve a metal for felling the vile and villianous "Al", known Sosarian ruffian. You didn't have to go in a gate!


Also I want to point out that I have been asked not to do this, ever. So it's kind of against shard rules somehow as per Telamon. A stupid trammel rule, but that seems to be the case none the less.

Also, you haven't been around to gate me to Ancient Wyrms...I let my guard down.

Apparently this ruined an older server and Telamon is against things that ruin servers, which is another reason why UOR is the best server for UO. #Telamonthegreat!

If you jump a random gate... you deserve to be killed. Regardless of how skilled the people are on the other side waiting with traps and pets.

Guy is popping the gate at the bottom of the ladder at my shop. I care less about me but more about this fucking with my customers or the people using my rune library. Since its outside of town lines you don't get the gate gump. I intentionally jumped it yes, but I'm sure some people are also accidentally walking into it.

The opinions of the few fall beneath the worry of the many. This to me is a prime example of troll behavior, if you don't control it early or set ground rules then the game becomes a joke. Telamon knows more about running a server then you or most of us could hope to learn in 2 life times.

Yes, I wasn't speaking about your situation in my response. You accepted this was your own fault and weren't crying foul. This is how it should be handled.

While I don't disagree with your point that this is "troll" behavior... but where do you draw the line? This is a sandbox game... we don't play on a trammel shard for a reason. If they arn't using an exploit... it should be fair game.

We already have enough protections as it is... let people be as creative as they want. That is what makes this game different then every other monster masher out there.

!@#$ no, it adds a sustainable dynamic. to this game without the intervention of the Game masters generating new content.

While getting established, I had a target to hate and seek revenge on... this made the game SO much more fun then any instanced PVE event could ever hope to bring.

Currently... I'm in an active WAR with an IRL family member in game.... know how much more fun this game is because of this?

Player interaction and the freedom to come up creative things to do, is what makes this game best game ever released.

If the gate was cast from

• Inside a home from a one tile space surrounded by lockdowns, 5 man babies dur hurring over discord between bong rips, and a pack of dragons.

Then that's messed up and not allowed here. Granted, hopping a gate with a warning gump that you have to select "yeah I really mean it" with is your fault.


If the gate was cast from

• pretty much anywhere else not like example above

Then there is no problem unless you make it one. Thus you are the source and when peeled back, are the problem.
