you -could- cast poison field and probably kill the npcs, giving them a minor annoyance of having to change the npc names in their macro.

I'm not sure but I think the "no poison in Occllo" rule might also apply to poison field.

Plus none of those mages have snazzy enough sandals for me to steal afterwards.

The innkeeper though....those super dark browns. He's gagging for an explosion and run combo.

kidding aside... if it didn't cause the administration grief, I'd love to "put hits / get contracts" on certain npc's in the game and hire specialized assassins on certain NPC's

Again, if it didn't cause an influx of unnecessary pages to GM's...

I ain't going through THAT again

I'm sorry man, I'm on my phone and autocorrect loves making spelling additions!

I'd love an NPC hit contract.

    Who's sandals you want?

My (only) account is 7 days old now. I'm at 95.0 magery and 87.3 resist with 60k+ and 4k silk/ash in the bank.

    Here's what you do:

    1. Make a character with 50 resist, 49 magery, 1 healing (for the newbiefied scissors.) Decline young status for now.

    2. Snoop healer until your dex is 80+. That's right, you started out as a Grandmaster Spy.

    3. Pay healer guildmaster to raise anatomy and healing.

    4. CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY! (Buy a kryss, katana or quarterstaff.)

    5. Take the moongate to Yew. Use dagger on sheep and kill them. Bank anytime you're close to encumbrance limit.

    6. Take the moongate to Jhelom. Use the 3 teleporters and kill animals and take their hides (use newbie scissors to cut hides into leather immediately.)

    7. Alternate so that you're fighting in Jhelom whenever you're not clearing out the sheep pens in Yew. Watch out for PKs in Jhelom. (I was jumped once near the Yew moongate and once at the Jhelom pits.)

    8. When you have a large enough pile of wool, turn it into cloth and transfer the cloth to a second char you create (tailor or train tailoring at guildmaster, either will do) - make clothing and sell it. The vendors will not buy infinite copies of the same item, so make different items to sell them; they all seem to sell for 2 x cloth used, so just go for succes/exceptional chance and variance. Buy a mount, a full spellbook, a runebook, some mark scrolls and some unmarked runes with the money you make and start using recall. Keep your runebook in the bank. Make extra characters and pool the starting gold if you don't have enough. Mark your runes far enough away from normal traffic so that noone sees your name incoming as you arrive in case you're grey/orange. Make this a habit.

    9. When you have around 50 in your weapon skill, go to a graveyard (Yew or Britain works fine) and kill skeletons until you have a full suit of bone armor. Put excess armor pieces in the bank. Do this again whenever you need.

    10. Start killing earth elementals in the dungeon in Ocllo. If there are not enough earth elementals to kill, go to Shame level 1 instead. You will make good enough money doing this that you can start macroing magery/resist. Watch out for PKs in Shame - Red incoming name = hold down recall hotkey with your cursor hovering over your rune waiting to click as soon as you can or with a second hotkey to target it. Consider the same approach with blues. No monsters on level 1 use magic so keep magic reflection up. Use blade spirits to deal with scorpions. Enable the young program when you macro magery.

    11. When you hit GM in your weapon skill you are done with earth elementals and it's time to lower that dex and raise that int so you can get your magery up faster and farm some proper monsters using some proper spells like energy vortex and summon daemon. Gate Travel is also a good way to make money as escorts yield 300-450ish gold and seem to have only a one-minute cooldown.

    12. Focus your macroing on Resisting Spells. When you hit 100 you'll also have 100 Meditation, Magery and Evaluate Intelligence and have lowered Healing/Anatomy to around 50/50 as they're the only non-7xGM skills left. At this point go to Deceit Island and wrestle polar bears like a man until you have 100 Wrestling and Tactics and 0 Anatomy and Healing.

    13. Laugh from your mountain.

Always cut the sheep before you kill. You get one piece of wool, which when spun gives you three balls of yarn.

If you cut after death, you get 3 piles of wool which each give one ball of yarn. Sounds like it's not a big difference but it takes 3.5s to spin each wool. So it's about 5x quicker to cut the sheep before killing them, and you get the same amount of product at the end.

Additionally, the wool goes straight in your pack without having to open a corpse, drag and drop, even more time saving!

My peace dexxer dies at the blood eles and lost my vanq... I found it hard to keep them both pacified at gm peacemaking. Not having resist didn't help my situation any. Of course I was only using gm instrument. What instrument should I use on blood eles?

I remember youngs walked the mainlands on production shards. I think the young program should be to get new players acclimated to the real world. They can't become acclimated stuck on a tiny island. Once they finally leave the island, they're fresh fish for real lol...young, dumb, and full of c*m.

This is the main reason I chose to stay away from the young program... I'm not about to let decades of hard-earned PvParanoia go to waste.

With that being said I don't think it's a good idea allowing young players off the island. Simply put the fact that they are immune to being murderered makes them unfair competitors when it comes to farming gold.

This is the main issue with Peacemaking on this shard. As the health of the monsters diminishes, the chance to break Peace grows. And you sometimes will get to a certain health on a monster that every hit will break. And once a monster like Bloods, Lich Lords, etc. break, they can really ruin your day with a melee + Flamestrike. This is why I always recommend Provoke over Peace for newer players. It's safer.
