What is RRG and why do they think they are able to require tax payments?

If I am not incorrect, they are a "evil" RP guild that forces people to pay taxes or they will kill them. So you pay taxes for protection from them.

Paying a group of reds off is like paying off a corrupt cop. One group has no say on any other and just because you do doesn't mean any number of other reds aren't going to flock in to kill you.

You are right I don't need to pay them and it doesn't prevent others from coming around. But for me and others, UO is more fun the more you immerse yourself in the world. I am not a full on RP guy but I like that aspect of the game and I embrace it where I can. This is me embracing it and immersing myself in the world of Sosaria to have more fun.

In a RP environment it can work.

I'd like to join with my miner, whom I play very frequently.

Since they will likely still be patrolling this area for non-NBMC miners, a couple questions: Will the RRG defend the NBMC should they see one getting attacked in this area? Will they avenge the NBMC miners should one get PKed there?

It took some time but it did get done. The RRG trusts few so fighting for others on command would not be likely. It would also put miners at risk in attempts to draw us out into an open fight. We do however look into claims of others trespassing in RRG owned mines as well as others claiming to own them. We cannot guarantee justice but we will put effort into investigating persons who cause trouble for our business.

NBMC is for Miners who want to Mine and sell their goods at a fair price.

We do not seek to enter into wars, nor limit our goods to any particular group. We recognize the realities of Sosaria and are prepared to deal with them as they come.


All miners are welcome and ONLY miners allowed, If you don't have mining as a skill, you will not be admitted to the Guild.

The Master Panda we killed was a Tamer. That nightmare guarding you "J" was mean, very mean. Unless for some crazy reason you're a tamer thief.

We knew Master Panda and Pork Fried Rice were pals so we were very happy to give a little payback after poor old Jerome Jackson was slayed in Ice a few weeks back.
