Greetings! I am Maoh and I hail from the peaceful town of Yew where I was raised by a lumberjack who taught me everything i know about combat. I was just wondering: Where are all the people and where do they generally gather? I come from 2 other shards which have 'main towns' where most people generally come back to stock up / stash away goods or replenish potions / reagents. Is there such a land here? I've only seen a few people in Britain, not nearly enough to call it a main city. Any help would be much appreciated :]
Yew seems to be a pretty empty town on this shard. I usually see the most people at Moonglow and at Skara, I don't go to all the banks so I can't speak for them all. Also there Occlo has quite a few people, but many of them are new players macroing.
Occlo is the starting town for new players, which is generally fairly busy with vendors very close by. And as far as populated banks, I'd say Moonglow seems to be the most populated.
You will find that there is a lot to do on this shard so people tend to not just sit around banks. Most people afk in their homes or are actually out doing something here. Gone are they days of sitting at West Brit Bank in your best trammel outfit.
Yeah, really not many bank sitters, although we once did it with tongue in cheek, every time we got some new mask or mount, or whatever pretty clothing item we wanted to show off. Occlo is bustling with activity from newer players, but as has been said, Moonglow is probably the most populated 'hang out', for those who do still do that stuff. If I'm on, I'm usually out and about in a dungeon or at home cranking away on Bulk Order Deeds. Either that, or I'm at work trolling the ever loving hell out of forums and IRC. I <3 this shard
Welcome Yewman Maoh! I hope you keep your ax sharp and your supplies stocked! There's a great world of money to be had if you like to collect oak and regular lumber. Many player craftables can only be obtained from oak wood and it sells for about 20-26 gold per board!!! WAOH! Anyways I wanted to welcome you to the realm. As other's have said, Occlo seems to be hoppin'. A lot of it is new folks training, but there is a nice new player dungeon down there that's pretty brilliant! Yeah, not really a bank sitting community here. Moonglow Skara Occlo (alot of new players) This is an active shard, generally if players are sitting they are just macroing unattended. Most players I have seen are active and are doing things while in-game
