Greetings everyone! P'S is going to run another Hardmode Hunt. HARDMODE HUNT 16! We started Hardmode Hunts in 2015 and its awesome that we are still able to run these, and that players still show up! Hardmode Hunt 16! Friday, January 20th, at 11pm Eastern Standard Time (10pm central, 8pm pacific) What this is: This is a survival type event. Players will meet at a designated location and ONLY are allowed to have the following items on their characters when we start (prepare to be snooped) Newbie dagger Spellbook, with any spells already loaded in (hyper hardmode would be coming with an empty one and gathering scrolls as we go) Blessed or non-blessed, non-defensive clothing Once everyone is gathered, chests will be made available to collect your starting gear. Limited supply of everything, so dont be greedy; take only what you need to begin the hunt. From there, we will be gated to a dungeon or spawn, and the group will work as a team to defeat the monsters, all the while collecting gear and hopefully upgrading, sharing, and crafting new things for each other. The conclusion of the event will be either a boss, a puzzle, or something else to be discovered. There will be return trips to have access to better loot chests. How this will work is as follows: Pay attention to the group leader (likely me) and follow the gate back to the starting zone. Drop ALL gold collected thus far into the pile and you will then have access to the next set of chests for upgraded gear. There will be NO MOUNTS for this event. TAMERS can only tame and use what they find in the wilds and on the hunt, excluding mounts of any kind. Crafters are welcome and encouraged to attend. All others, including reds, are invited to come as long as we all can get along. This has never been an issue in the past, so lets keep it that way. Also P'S implores you to leave beef and grudges at the door for this event, and just have fun with the community. Everyone who attends will receive a participation trophy! All loot and items, aside from gold (which goes in the pile to fund this event), is open for everyone! Be quick!
