Right, but why jerk around buyers to maybe sell them something or maybe not depending on your mood and how much you need gold? Figure that sh1t out before you start the auction. Not trying to pick on you specifically here, but rather commenting on the discussion of min bid vs. reserve as a whole. I still don't see any great reason for doing this.
Yeah, that's totally fine. I will usually not sell something unless it's wasting my time and the money is good (see also: Wind House). Generally speaking the difference between minimum bid and Reserve can be more simply described as 'haggle room' If you get into the haggle room, there's a chance I'll take it. If not, there's no chance at all. I like haggling and if you don't, you either don't like or haven't seen Life of Brian.
I agree with you completely. I suppose its set a starting bid that is way lower than you ever would accept and then have buddies chime in on how its worth so much more and hope a bidding war happens. Swiftfeet buy those for 8 mil or not?
