With the introduction of an instanced event type scenario it's hard to tell. Years pass the Easter event used to be very kind to rogues. You could stealth around use tracking navigate the terrain etc and sneak the eggs away from the Easter Bunny and fluffy. But now who knows? Side note to self, Do not dictate forum post response using voice to text feature on your new phone in front of colleagues at work. It tends to lead to a lot of compulsory explaining.
I ran around with a thief a few years ago and did well stealing from tamers. Thats better than playing a tamer
It looks the same as previous iterations. Easter bunny is relatively weak, but Fluffy VI doesn't mess around. I was able to kill one bunny with an axer but it took about 30 mins. If you don't mind taking a long time you can kite them around and look for healers to aggro them onto; then keep healing the healer while DPSing the bunny. It's a losing battle though because Fluffy's DPS is pretty insane. Fluffy will chain flamestrikes (which were hitting me for max damage most of the time at GM resist) so be ready to run and heal. I also had some good results paralyzing Fluffy just far enough away that I was out of cast range but close enough that he wouldn't get summoned quickly. That said, the event is really fun and I collected about 40 eggs from the ground in about 45 mins. Tamers will get the best stuff but the rest of us can get good stuff with a bit more work.
Please keep in mind that a 7xGM Tamer here isn't like other servers. You can start a char at 50, AFK macro on dagger isle until 71.1, and then AFK macro til GM at Jhelom bulls. Vet takes a few hours to GM Lore GMs while taming and vet and the rest is normal char stuff
Yeah it isn't really hard to train up, but it also isn't the only playstyle in the game. It would be nice if these events catered to other playstyle too... I'm hoping this one does.
