Twas a straight blood bath with blaze magpies set aflame everywhere! Some of these bewitched birds hit for like 100-300+ plus damage!
    .
The stench of blood from God-fearing men was thick in the air but the battle was won and the feathers of the damned and dragons blood were all that were left.
    .
Big thanks to @MagnusEmplar aka Allevia & @Samorite

We gathered in preparation for the hunt.

More and more arrived until finally, after a short speech by a vengeful resident, it was revealed that the infamous *Jay of mischief* was a double agent!

The magpie, she said, were planning something to do with Ocllo, and if we did not act soon, there could be dire consequences to the beloved town. At once, the party ventured to the Ocllo south. Waiting there were enormous mutated beasts. Either we arrived just in time and the invasion was about to begin, or they knew we were coming.

It was a tough battle. Many, many casualties later, the mutants kept coming. Some fell dragons and humans alike in a single blow. Only the most skilled of bards could turn their attention away and finish them off.

And so the magpies fell, one by one, until they were no more.

We have seen the last of the magpie. Of this, we can be certain. Not a beating heart of the enemy was left alive on that battlefield.

Still... rumours have begun to spread of more keys being scattered throughout the land. Copycats, maybe? A larger conspiracy? We cannot yet know.

If you find a complete set of the *nine mysterious gemstone keys*, bring them to us post-haste and be rewarded. Perhaps there is another clue to be found, and another battle to be won.

Stay sharp, my friends, and remember the Five.
