Client Patches 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9 - UO:R Launcher and CUO/Razor Updates

    In preparation for Patch 91, a minor client patch was released that updates the UO:R Launcher and updates the versions of Razor and ClassicUO.

    You will be prompted to update next time you open the UO:R Launcher. Be sure to close out of everything before you update.

    UO:R Launcher Updates:
    • Enabled support to have the Launcher download files using a CDN. This will enable people, based on where they live, to download UO:R from data centers closer to them.
      • For example, if you live in the UK, it will download from Frankfurt or Amsterdam depending on your location instead of a data center in the United States.
      • At the moment, this feature is not enabled.
    • Removed the ClassicUO Dev Preview option
      • This option was added early on when the ClassicUO Dev Preview was months ahead of the beta releases. This has since changed, and the beta releases have become much more stable and the changes between beta releases aren't as significant as they once were. You can still use the ClassicUO Dev Preview on your own, but it's recommend that you use the version provided by the launcher.

        To use ClassicUO, go to Settings and select "Use ClassicUO Client (open source) with Razor"

      • If you were using the developer preview, you can copy/paste your profiles/macros by copying the Data folder from C:\UORenaissance\ClassicUO\Preview to C:\UORenaissance\ClassicUO\
    • Updated all the components used to build the Launcher
      • More of a developer maintenance task -- helps maintain ease of development.
    • Music is Skara Brae will now work, along with the correct music in Wind.

    This is a general release that fixes some bugs with the new Razor Scripting Engine. This brings Razor from 1.6.4.2 to 1.6.4.32.

    Here are a few noteworthy mentions:
    • Fixed any errors related to systray and long titles
    • Fixed a few packet exception issues when logging in or casting spells
    • Right-click on macros to convert them to scripts
    • Script engine optimizations (better error reporting, better timeout/pause handling)
    • Fixed issues related to waitfortarget / wft not working correctly
    • Fixed issues with nested if / else / endif
    • Added hotkey to add party members (/add)
    • Show Attack message when using Attack Last Target hotkey

    This version mainly contains bugs/performance changes. This patch updates ClassicUO from 0.1.3.300 Beta (released in March 2020) to 0.1.3.600 Beta (released May 2020).

    Here are a few noteworthy mentions:
    • Fixed light color (90%)
    • Fixed issues with items going invisible in paperdoll or containers
    • General changes to improve performance and stability
    • Fixed weird colors showing on the world map (usually on roofs)
    • General UI cleanup (Options menu)

    UO:R Launcher Update (1.2.0.0)

    I released another update to the UO:R Launcher that should address a few issues people were having:

    • Fixed the issue where your settings would get lost after the launcher updated
      • NOTE: With this update, you will need set your settings one last time. Moving forward all settings and log files will be stored in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\UORLauncher which will carry over on future updates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
    • Fixed the issue where some people couldn't launch ClassicUO from the launcher.
    • Option to have the launcher play random UO music.
    • Added a Logs button to the Options section that will open Windows Explorer directly to the folder to help staff troubleshoot. Also added some better logging just in case.

    UO:R Launcher Update (1.3.0.0)

    I released a minor update to the UO:R Launcher, which mainly provides you additional information on what is downloading, current file, total download, etc. This should make the experience, especially for new installs, a bit nicer as it sits and downloads some of the bigger files.

    Client Patch 3.5

    This minor client patch doesn't change any UOR game asset files, it updates ClassicUO and Razor.

    Razor 1.6.5.16

    • Fixed issue with saving scripts in certain scenarios
    • targettype will find mobiles and items by name
    • Moved Friends tab to the main tab list
    • Added stop command to scripts
    • Set friend tag and hue per group
    • Attack name overhead "new targets only" works on hotkeys
    • Changed default encoding on profiles to UTF8 (cross platform support)
    • Added the ability to set waypoints in-game
    • Create a waypoint to the position of your corpse upon death
    • Added 'backpack' option to dclicktype and targettype
    • Moved Filters to the main tab list
    • Added Next/Prev Non-Friendly Targets
    • Added clearsysmsg/clearjournal to scripts and macros

    ClassicUO Beta 0.1.4.000

    This version uses graphic drivers depending on your OS. For Windows, it now uses DirectX over OpenGL so people might see a slight improvement in FPS.

    • dynamic sounds. Volume changes based to the distance of the sound.

    Does this actually negate Hiding? You can target a hidden person with spells?????

    Has nothing to do with what is happening in my signature.
    Was happy because I used next mobile and would randomly target blue people and then sometimes attack them with my all kill macro

    UPDATE: I removed the ClassicUO update from this release since it appears to have some issues with drag and drop. It only contains a Razor update.

    If you updated, close the launcher and reopen to revert back. Sorry about that. *insert this is beta meme*

    UPDATE 2: It's been fixed, let's try again.

    Razor 1.6.6.15

    • Fixed ancient Razor bug that could cause non-existent items to remain in your queue (ie: when you stack a pile of gold on to another). This should fix some instances where scavenger isn't picking up items
    • Fixed another ancient Razor bug where the vendor pack items aren't updated realtime by the server (it's managed client side). Razor should behave exactly like this. This will remove the warning in extinfos with amounts not matching.
    • Fixed issue where party/friends overhead messages
    • Moved the Overhead Messages feature to the `Display/Counters` tab so its more visible to everyone
    • Revamped the General tab UI as it was too cluttered. Removed UOAM and Ultima Mapper shortcuts
    • Moved the `Sound/Music` tab to the main `Filter` tab
    • Moved the `Waypoint` tab to the `Display/Counters` tab
    • Change the hue of the overhead message in the macro UI
    • Fixed issue with scripts not parsing words like `spider's silk` correctly
    • Fixed macro->script conversion for wait/pauses
    • Created hotkeys to help generate script commands for `targettype` and `dclicktype`
    • Added right-click menu to script list (reload, open externally, copy to clipboard)
    • `>info` command will popup a gump that will display information about a mobile or item and let you copy by clicking the blue buttons
    • Fixed some issues loading the previous profile
    • Added `>sysmsgs` to display a gump of the current system messages in Razor's buffer for macro and scripting
    • Prevent empty strings from going into the system message buffer


    ClassicUO Beta 0.1.5.000

    NOTE: This is a version that was built post this release, that fixes the World Map and Bulletin items not displaying correctly.
    • New rendering pipeline to improve performances. With this new system people gained 20/40 FPS in low end PCs. xBR has been replaced with new filters "Anisotropic" and "Linear" [Options -> Video]. These new filter might generate some graphical artifacts due to the UO textures.
    • Highlight containers on ground when mouse is focused over them [configurable as option]
    • Moved default window caption title to the right side
    • Fixed and improved drag & drop code
    • When holding an item and pressing CTRL + WHEEL DOWN the helditem will float on screen.
    • fix Easel item for older clients
    • improved circle of transparency
    • set name from 0x98 packet for world map entities
    • fixed idle animations not found
    • don't move worldmap in freeview when holding an item
    • avoid crash when 2 clients from the same folder access to the "settings.json"
    • removed stealth from skill selection when creating a new character
    • avoid dclick when dragging healthbars with target ON
    • fixed chessboard graphic
    • fixed a crash occurred when vendor sends an "invalid" texture graphic

    Well this would have been nice to have before I trained up archery and would lag out if i took a step from trying to scavenge the non-existent arrows :D Awesome that it's been addressed.

    Razor 1.6.7.10:

    • >info command gump will close when you try to close it
    • Split 'Auto-Un/Reequip hands for potions' into 2 options
    • Added in-game gump to show assigned Razor hotkeys. Type >hotkeys
    • Added hotkeys for all Razor gumps that were available in commands (info, sysmsg, hotkeys)
    • Added Set Hot Key button to agents
    • New Filters tab on Razor and moved all filtering related features as sub-tabs
    • Ability to block/filter specific text
    • Added whisper and yell commands to scripting
    • Fixed issue loading files when using the OSI client
    • Option to disable tooltips in the script editor
    • Fixed infinite loop issue with scripts when using nested for loops
    • The script list on the UI will be in alphabetical order on Linux
    • Added waitforsysmsg command as this can be achieved already using while loops.

    Is it possible to bring back the xBR option? The new filters are far inferior to the xBR we used to have. This is especially noticeable when using the zoom in option.

    Unfortunately not, it was removed because the newer rendering engine didn't support it, but the benefits of that out weighted the lose of xBR

    Just another client update. Pushed the latest version of Razor to the UOR Launcher
    • Implemented treeview and categories for scripts
    • Added ability to adjust the size of the script editing window and the list of scripts (right-click to hide/show)
    • script command can now call the new supported categories
    • Added findbuff scripting expression
    • Fixed right-click menu not opening when selecting something in the script editor
    • Script will throw an error if you use if count with an counter that isn't setup
    • Fixed issue with the individual sound filter being off by 1
    • Added guild and alliance scripting commands
    • Converting macros to scripts will retain the same name if available
    • Added position scripting expression
    • Added ability to override which weapons Razor consider two handed
    • CTRL-S will save the current script you're editing
    • Save indicator in main window when editing scripts
    • Fixed issue with lift command requiring the optional parameter
