It strikes me as odd that as much as everyone bitches about Trammel they sure go apeshit over anything Trammie-colored Personally, the only thing I like in the whole mix are the cacti.
Its strikes me as pimpin how pimpin all them sandies loook! It aint Trammel if there aint Trammel ! or if its Christmas or any holiday
Never understood why colored sandals and masks and hose deco stuff was/is considered trammel. None of that stuff inhibits any amount of freedom in game.
Once the event is underway, can we perform Felucca-level actions on other players ? (or is it similar to the halloween event in that regard?)
Within the instanced event, you cannot harm other players. But that's ok, because in the event there are plenty of creatures looking to do this for you.
Are the event times posted yet? And if so, are they simply in a different thread? I looked in the Event Calendar but there is only one even listed, and it's for tomorrow. Sorry if I'm missing something, haven't been on lately heh.
Pictures from the first Dark Magic Awakens Event. Congrats to Koehl for winning the first event. Waiting to sign up Preparing for the event The battle underway, players fighting their way into the dark elf fortress The Dark Commander Attacks The Final Scores

19:30... thought I was going to take down that spirit. Like 12,000 HP and I probably got him down to 5,000. Got down to like 3 Garlic and had to split to make sure I didn't lose my nightmare. Didn't realize how many healing regs I'd need during the event... lesson learned. Next time he goes down!
Cactus type chances... Are the chances in getting a type of cactus 1 in 7 given there are 7 types? I've bought 3 cacti deeds and they are all the same. I calculated the chances of this happening.... and thought perhaps some cactus types might be less common. If 1 in 7 1/7 = 0.14286 One can calculate the chances of two or more independent events by multiplying the chances. 0.14286 * 0.14286 * 0.14286 = 0.0029156 or 0.29% Given the very low chance of this happening, I thought perhaps some cactus types might be less common thus it isn't 1 in 7. Thanks
One thing to note... that is the chance of getting three in a row of that specific cactus. If you want to know your chances of getting three in a row, in general, it's .14286 * .14296 = 2.0%.
That is for 2 independent events, not 3. For example: Probability of 3 Heads in a Row For each toss of a coin a "Head" has a probability of 0.5: And so the chance of getting 3 Heads in a row is 0.125
