I dont have a picture uploaded but I am sure every single person here will know what I am talking about. The 2 story villa inside the wind spot. That one spot of grass inside the right side of the mountain. Any info would be greatly appreciated. You can reply here or PM me in IRC: Minallee Thank you!
I believe it is Blaise (and you better bring your checkbook): http://uorforum.com/threads/the-wind-villa-auction.3955/page-2
Ahh okay thank you. Nevermind then. Always wanted that spot, it went near idoc last night he must have refreshed it. That is what I get for getting my hopes up lol
I sold it for 3m to an undisclosed buyer about a year ago probably. Once I moved my mining and crafting operation to a secure keep, I seldom used the place. I'm sure I could have held out for some glorious windfall of gold, but I'm not that greedy and/or don't give a crap. I could speculate on the owner is and I'm pretty sure I know, but they used an intermediary to coordinate the transaction and I won't be divulging their info either. Enjoy.
When you see properties going for 10m you think back on sales like this and wonder if refreshing would have been worth it. I just don't care about gold that much. lol
I am 99% sure the owner is Tabius, who doesn't play but just refreshes this house, his Jhelom farms houses, his Justice Island tower, and who knows what else. When this house was put up for auction, bidding got up to 1.32M (I was the high bidder). This was below the 3M "reserve" set by Blaise, so he didn't sell it. Tabius offered and spent 3M, but I'm not sure how or where he accumulated his gold and I'm not really sure that price is indicative of any market rate. My advice to the OP: keep your eyes on it, eventually he'll hopefully get sick of spending time every other week to hoard pixels in a game he doesn't play.
Please do not pay attention to the hermit who is in the house once a week to refresh it. He is meerly the butler.
Tell the butler he's a boring turd who should go lock up real estate on a server no one cares about, considering he doesn't actually play the game. It was wise to buy this house with an agent. I would have given it away before knowingly selling it to a true space-waster.
I want that house too, and his tower (His tower is my #2 desired house in the game. #1 being Wulver's Yew Gate Fort)
Yeah, well what Blaise doesnt realise is playing can mean once a week because people actually have jobs and lives. Sorry mate, but its your problem you have to devote so much time to a game to grow your masculinity in an online world. Dont give me this holier than thou crap about how dare you hoard houses when you barely play. I don't care if a player logs in once a month to play an afternoon, its still playing. So get over it, stop whining and be normal. Thank you.
