Back in the day, I like Skara the best, but on this server too many thieves . lol On this server, Magincia for my mage, Nujel'm, for my tailor... Her magic is low, so she can get a tailor bod, grab an escort, while heading to the moongate stop at the blacksmith to grab one of those bods. Westra
The first gate I ever took from a r/l friend, only minutes old in UO was to Trinsic. There was an undead invasion at the time. He knew, I didn't. Then music was the 1st thing I heard before I hit that lich with my new sword 50 skill and was dead in seconds. LOL I was hooked to Trinsic from the start. Skara is always a fav for selling, as well as Moonglow.
On Great Lakes, I grew up in Minoc and bought my first small tower north of the minoc moongate. So, Vesper/Minoc area holds a special place in my UO heart. *single tear* I still call this area home
When I first started playing Pacific in 99-00, I picked Trinsic because it just looked awesome (o)possum (and it was awesome [o]possum). Eventually, I joined a guild (Miners of Minoc) and spent most of my OSI days there. Nostalgia factors aside, I prefer Skara because everything is in close proximity.
Minoc was the first town I called home and it still holds a special place after all these years even with th lack of a mage npc and tailor, it's just, more.....homely.....y'know, trees.... Vesper was always my go-to town for the mages/tailors that Minoc never had. Trinsic's always been too empty for my liking, but it's one of the nicer towns with th wide paved streets and canals around th islands =P
