    Hail and well met!

My name is Stormwynd. I have been a UO addict since 1997. I have taken the past few years off, only playing off and on occasionally on UO Origins. A nice gentlemen there pointed me here when our server shut down. I look forward to giving it a go! I'm a wanna-be twitch streamer so may broadcast my newbieness on there if that isn't a problem, but I make no promises.

I just wanted to come on here and introduce myself to what seems like a very vibrant and mature community! I look forward to seeing all of you in the wonderful lands of Britannia!

Just a little about me and a few questions I may have.

I played on Sonoma from around 1998 until I quit around 2005 or so. I was part of the player run town of Oasis in various capacities. I am definitely a purist in the sense of I love the old school game type and play style. I'm not too much of a grinder as I am 31 and have a wife and two kids. So play time is very limited but I have played UO on and off for years and never found something remotely close to it in all my days.

A few questions I have are, what's a semi-safe spot for Mining as I love to mine and become a GM Blacksmith. Also, is there a market out there for GM Blacksmith or is it mainly needed to support your main's armor/weapons?

I haven't had much time to explore yet as I only logged on for about an hour and ran around Occlo, but other than that wonderful Island, where is the main gathering ground for people to hang out?

I look forward to seeing you all in game and chatting it up!

If you see Stormwynd or Obsidian please feel free to say hi!

I have no qualms about using tools. By purist I mean none of that care bear stuff that UO decided to put in to make UO like WoW after AOS.

I LOVE this game and if it is even remotely close to how it was right before T2A I think I will be well on my way to enjoying some fun with everyone!
