Pls elaborate: 1. I do not need to kill the rabbit or Fluffy in order to get eggs? 2. If so: Whats the benefit of killing the rabbit or Fluffy? 3. And do they always spawn in the same place? Oh: I have a provo dexxer and no tamer yet - so I won't have any chance to kill the dragon. Edit: Answered! Found an excellent guide! Thx @Gideon Jura
What does this mean? I thought you could collect eggs peacefully according to some guides in the forum.
I think it just refers to the Fluffy Dragon. I don't think they changed the mechanic! You may still collect eggs peacefully (as it should be, because it's Eastern ), but in order to make a bunnie respawn (and therefore in order to get new eggs) someone has to kill the rabbit and fluffy. I do not have a tracker yet, but I am glad, that new players can join in without killing stuff! (Although I don't dare enter dangerous dungeons yet
Correct, you do not need to kill the rabbit or Fluffy to get eggs. The rabbit will poop out eggs every couple of minutes, assuming someone is nearby. It will continue doing this until it's 'out of ammo' (about 5-8 eggs). People often will mark a rabbit with a rune, then recall back to it every couple of minutes. Once the rabbit is out of eggs, it will need to be killed, in order to spawn a new rabbit in that area. In addition to this, there are a number of eggs that will just spawn on their own, without a rabbit. You can find a decent amount of eggs just be running around the world. (Protip: add them to your scavenger agent) Assuming it's like previous years, you will get a couple additional eggs, a chance at some plat, a chance at some turbo rare drops, and a decent stack of gold and gems. Even as a tamer, it takes quite awhile to down them. They will spawn in the same general area, but not necessarily in the exact same place. Tracking is extremely helpful for finding bunnies.
Usually old rewards don't turn up again in the following years. At least not with the same hue. I thought that's some kind of event item policy. For example, the golden egg and the basket of herbs are rewards from 2013. They are super rare and quite valuable right now. Adding them to the shop this year would change their value significantly.
The cob webs from this past Halloween were on the vendor a few years ago, and all of the high cost Valentine items this year were from last year. I think there have been others as well but those were the ones that jumped out.
I killed Fluffy IV (??) solo last year. It's not easy (and that's after trying and failing many times before), but in the right circumstances you can do it. And blades certainly go a long way.
If I don't care to redeem for holiday items, but love hunting eggs, is it easier to just sell the eggs or should I redeem for points and sell the items? And what's the going rate for eggs then?
It's disappointing that the only way to combat the rabbit and fluffy is by being a tamer with dragons...
