I want to replace a large smithy with a tower. I marked it out and all. Had a tower on this spot before [not here].
Only difference is there is a small stone tower to the east and it looks like the wing is close to being over it. Somewhere I remember
that if there is was a small under where the wing is, you have to drop the small to place the tower.

Anyone have an issue with this?

    Thanks in advance!

I think as long as the proper spacing is maintained (1 space east-west, i believe) ... you should be ok. I *highly* recommend you test it out on the test server, first ... if you're concerned someone might try to gank your spot while you're attempting to place.

In some rare cases the roof overhand on the west side of a house can require an additional space depending on the house that is located on that side. However if a tower fit in the spot before there should be plenty of room.

I can take a look at the spot on test center if you ping me on discord while you are there.
