@Alex Caember I think the bench style shelves look great... and logistically speaking they just work better.

So out of curiosity; why bother with the other real "real" type shelves? Who wants a library with empty bookshelves!?! :D

the benches are visually better, but lock down count wise they are gobblers. it comes down to lockdownenomics: 1 empty book shelf vs 5-6 benches = savings of about 5 lock downs.

I didn't even think of that. Thanks Jupiter.

Plus the size/dimensions of the bookshelves work perfectly as "support" for the north wall loft. In addition, I sort of just wanted something a bit visually different to help break it up a bit so it wasn't super monotonous with wooden benches :)

I forgot that one of the main driving factors for it was that it allowed me to fill the space using secures instead of lockdowns, and they are good storage for all of my blank books (got like...700 blank books in those puppies right now)

I agree with you, Blaise, but I think Alex pulled this off extremely well. It's tasteful, fits the theme of the Library 100% and looks flat out awesome! Great job, man.

Also, I really wish that the full bookshelves were craftable with some combination of carpentry and inscription. That would make decorating a lot easier and more visually appealing when doing a full on library like this or just trying to create a study.

    In any case, great job.

What if book shelf could be crafted with inscription, and when double clicked open a gump of selectable books you could open and read? :p

Best use of z-axis abuse I've seen. Looks pretty dang good!
