How is this server?

So I'm thinking about moving here from uof. That shard is just full of aholes and griefers. Now I am not talking about reds or thieves. I love that part of the game that danger can happn at any time. About 75% of the people I run into there are aholes constantly doing anything they can just to grief. While I do not want a trammie experience I would like a better ratio of cool peeps to aholes so I can enjoy my time instead of being annoyed constantly.
I'm sure I'll get trolled for this and called trammie but would like the opinions of people that play here what the general populace is like.

You must've really had a bad experience on that other server because not one person here will even entertain the idea of trolling you or calling you a trammie for this post. Enjoy this server, it's the best there is and most certainly has what you seek.

While I have met a few stellar people there I feel that aholes and griefers are the majority and not the exception as I would expect to find. Yes if had posted in that forum I would have been flamed a lot. Thanks I think I will roll up a guy and see how it goes.

Been on uor for 7 months or so. Out of the 5 shards i've played on this is the best! Good community great friendships and lots willing to help

Yeah I recommend that you start playing here immediately.

People are really friendly and helpful here, that's the norm. Even the pk's, which enjoy pvping but don't go out of their way to grief.

Welcome, and I hope you start playing with us. This is the best free shard I have played on, hands down.

Tons of great people here, great guilds, great events.

The staff is fantastic as well; really above and beyond what a free shard staff should be.

This is a Fel server, no Tramm. Very era accurate, but with a few mods that make the play experience here above other servers.

Nothing new to add to this thread. I agree with the others.

Even some of those "bad people" who play on UOF have chars here they jump on when they are in a mood to experience meaning in their lives and be on their best behaviour for a small period of time!

Join us and enter the megahedron that is UOR, you will not regret it!

This server is far beyond EA UO and OSI UO in terms of development/perfection. I would have left UO at any point if this server was here and I knew of it.

Chris has done an insane job at developing and perfecting this server.

The economy is under control (Never seen this before).

People here are intelligent and mature.

Dexxers are viable PvP and PvM (not forgotten Luke most places).

Item ID works on bags full of magic items, to ID multiple items at once (just found this out).

There is a lot to learn and this is the place to be. You better get started!

Ok I finally threw my hands up and left that other shard. Came here last night and started. Met several nice people one of who was a member of stormhold I can't remember his name but he showed me around and got me started made me armor etc. bv thanks to him I wish I could remember his name.
So far loving here and the changes to the starting area. Question would like to get in a guild so I can train 2 characters on each other. Anyone got one I can join. Not sure if I'll stay gotta find one I'll mesh with real well for a long term.

Stormhold? I think that would be Vlar. You don't really need a guild to X-Train you just need a roof over your head. You can have 3 accounts per IP. The only reasonable property I have to lend is currently being used by someone else who has recently started here, but I can drop a small house somewhere for you to train in and then you can buy it off me when you farm the gold. I'm out now but should be able to log in for a bit in 4-5 hrs.
