The 2 handed Swords special attack (mana reduced 25%) is concussion blow, the 2 handed maces (only warhammer has the special from what read on the forums) special (50% more damage) is crushing blow, it seems like the macing special is more useful than the swords special. Slayer swords are easier to get than slayer maces, so I was wondering if it was worth it to go macing even though magic slayer maces are harder to get, or should I just stay with swordsmanship ? Thanks.
Maces reduce target stamina thus reducing melee damage. Except for war axe. War axe doesn't for the same reason archery is lackluster.
Thanks for the macing info, my battle miner will definitely use macing. I will stick with swords on my 1st goldfarming toon for now just for cheapness and availability of slayers.
Thank you, nothing at the moment, just a bit of trivia but those that played Atlantic shard 1998 - 2000 may remember 2 guards named angus young and malcolm young by a building entrance in southeast britain Id like to say though that after reading much more of the forums I now realize how immense the game is and how much Chris and staff do to maintain it, ill stop posting about any things I would like to see implemented for a while. Seems like there's so much to do in game that all else seems unimportant. A big thank you to Chris, Staff, and Players for a great shard.
