New to the Server - Feasible to be a Librarian?

Ive once made copies of pretty much all available ingame books i could find, that also included a lot of books from private libaries.

We are currently having little issues with books here. They cannot be read when locked down until the promised fix arrives ("soon": @Chris )
My initial plan because of that was to have the books unlocked for public, and to use a backup archive should one gets lost.

That was a few months ago, and unfortunately my house got dry looted back then.
Yes.. they took even my books, and this project is paused since then - incase youre asking.

Ive planned to release it in the first floor of the Stormhold runelibary (which is a keep)
Please have a look, and tell me what you think about the location (Stormhold is a playertown/RP Guild to the north of Vesper)

This all sounds wonderful. I've been collecting the available books from libraries, especially those with themes like alchemy, but encountered the same issue about protecting the text. Great to hear about the Stormhold rune/book library! Good to hear too about this new venture. I've started creating a few basic books of alchemy for my laboratory. I gave ReZon The Emerald Tablet for his lab. Would be fun to include some genuine ancient and medieval texts in the game, as well as stories If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

This idea would look great on a patio/marble! Podiums and raised books to look like they're floating above them a little!


plus the fence/house wall by patio parts will serve as a "locked counter" if i am correct @Alice Asteroid ?

I've not tried it that way yet, but i'd imagine as long as movement is blocked, should work.

I certainly do plan on tracking down all of the books after I get more settled/established Right now I am not sure I can afford the books just yet required to make all the copies I will need. Soon though! Soon!
