Cleanup Britain - The first phase of the clean up Britain system will be deployed. You can see information about the items it will accept here. Clean Up Britain Guide - It will also include an unraveling system for player crafted armor, weapons, clothing and add-ons. - Clean up barrels can be crafted with the carpentry skill and oak boards. - Players will earn copper and resources that will be credited to the clean up barrel. - The ability to redeem resources/copper from the barrel will be disabled for a bit as we evaluate the system and verify it is working as intended. - Once that feature is turned on players can redeem coins for use in the ingame copper store, or to deposit to their account wallets. - Resources, once a threshold is met, can be redeemed for commodity deeds redeemable at any bank. The system will allow players to drag a single item into it, or a container of items. If an item is accepted by the system it will be processed and you will be shown an analysis of the redeemed value. - You can also appraise any container to see the value of items inside without turning them in. - Any non redeemable items in a container will be returned to the player. - Gold, Platinum, Holiday Coins, Copper Coins, Anniversary hued items, and blessed items will be rejected by the system. - Containers of containers cannot be turned in. Note: more details will be provided on the compendium guide once the system is ready. The full system will take a few patches to completely implement. Reward Store Updates - Added two new home addons to the halloween shop. Along with re-runs of two coffin addons. - Added phase 1 of the copper reward shop with several animated, and audio based rewards. - Added the 4 treasure pile addons to the copper reward store. Note: The Copper store will open as live testing on the Clean Up Britannia system is completed (week or so). Night of Horrors - City of the Dead - Resolved a problem where the statue award from the Overlord was not automatically updating to the current year. - Updated the event entrance gates to only allow for players who are using 5 or less control slots. Note: Due to the restrictive size of some areas in the dungeon this change will balance the instance a bit better. Champion System - Harrower - When turning in skulls instead of a gate opening when the 6th skull is turned in, players will be rewarded with a scroll or sorrow. <add picture> - The scroll will function much like the champion platform, allowing you to summon the Harrower on your own time, generating a gate at a location of your choosing. - The scroll has a confirmation option and will only allow you to spawn a Harrower if one does not exist in the world. - You cannot use the scroll to confirm if a Harrower is live, because if one is not, the scroll will be consumed. Champion System - Champions - Champions will no long teleport onto a boat to chase a player that damaged it. - Champions that teleport will now teleport if attacked by a players pets. (Previously they only went after players) - Champions can still be lured onto boats using the plank, which is acceptable. Note: They should not have been allowed to teleport in that manner onto boats in the first place. Players can however attack a champion, from a boat, with relative safety. - Champion spawn corpses will be removed immediately to discourage any nefarious behavior and to help with player performance in those areas. Note: They previously decayed quickly anyway. New Home Decor - Added two new home additions, the Mummy and Skeleton Addons. - These are 2 tile addon deeds that can be placed anywhere in your home. - They are available from the 2019 Halloween Reward Store. - Finished the implementation of 4 new treasure addons for player homes. - These will be available from the copper ingame reward shop once it opens. - Create a new home addon, the fire trap, to be included as a copper reward. - This item will animate and play a sound should anyone walk in range. Misc Fixes - Firebombs can no longer be targeted onto a location that another firebomb fire field already exists - Firebombs will now have a proper use delay required to prime them. Note: While this will nerf a common tactic against the Harrower, more changes are planned to the champion system to balance this out. Creature Changes / Additions - Bonded pets will have any lingering bardic actions cleared from them on death. - Added 10 new thanksgiving related creatures. Barding Changes Note: None of the changes listed below have any impact on monster vs monster provocation. The changes are only to the provocation act involving a player controlled animal. - When a bard provokes a monster against a players controlled tame that provoke will remain dominant as long as the following conditions are true. The bard remains alive. The bard remains within 30 tiles of the provoked creatures. 30 seconds has not passed since the first successful provocation against. - While under the control of a bard a pet can be commanded to use a nearby moongate if the command is sent while the pet is on or adjacent to the moongate. Note: While under the control of bard/provoke action a pet will accept a command from their master, but will quickly return to combat. The command is not ignored, but the bard's provoke will override any pet command until the provocation is terminated by the rules shown above. - If you leave the control range at any point during the provoke period, the control will be broken. - When provoking creatures against other creatures the bard can remain in control after 30 seconds as long as they stay in range of the provoked creatures. - With a player controlled creature involved this 30 second period cannot be extended or continued by repeated provocation attempts or the bard staying in range. Note: This allows provocation to be effective against a players creatures, but not abusive as common sense mechanics will apply. Note: Notoriety changes will be reviewed in a future patch. Server Hotfix - Nov 21st - Fixed a problem where damage and accuracy bonuses on weapons were not properly credited. A basic bonus was applied but not scaled. - Fixed a problem with player constructed bows not getting the proper salvaged resource value. - Fixed a few problems with the control system for using a barrel. Players will not get more detailed messages on why a barrel is not setup properly. - Minor adjustments to the thanksgiving creatures for combat balance.
“Pets will no longer attack players aligned with the pirate guild, rather, they will flee in fear.” Arr! Thank you !
"Updated the event entrance gates to only allow for players who are using 5 or less control slots." So basically only tamers with 1 dragon and 1 mare will be allowed in? Is that correct? Also, @Chris will there be a fix for the valentine day bags year date for this year? I know I have asked in the past, and sorry I keep bringing it up. Is it easier to ask for this now to include it in this patch? Last time bag years were fixed it was done via the fix it vendor. Edit: Can we also fix the halloween bag year? Thanks
It is being tested. It isn't something that has been here yet, at least this is what i was told. before something goes wrong i'm sure they would like it to be 100%, I know i would so i didn't have to explain to a bunch of people why it was reverted 5 minutes. and then have to tell Berth Al A'mule why you cant give her that rare drop she just lost to it
