Pink Ponies = Jumping the Trammel Shark Tank?

First the end game in UO was pank sandals. Then too many people had pank sandals and so pank horses became the end game in UO... It's all good. You don't like them? Don't ride one. You don't like other people riding them? kill them. And kill their horse. I'm sure the ghost of the horse isn't pank... but if the ghost is pank then that's it. Too trammel for me. I'm done. Deleting all my alternate forum accounts and everything.

Trainwreck of an addition? Without magical properties, it's just a shiny blue staff that if my memory of history serves correctly, belong in this game, in this era.
Perfected is removing the magical properties that made them OP.

I guess you just never saw that tower on UOSA full of them at night. Looked like a discotheque in there with the light filters off.

Also, while we're at it, can we remove lanterns, torches, candles and all the streetlamps in the game? Hell, just take out fire in general, that shit is too glowy.

The Ice Staff can be found in both Felucca and Trammel. They spawn on Giant Ice Serpents with a frequency of approximately one (1) Ice Staff per thirty six (36) Giant Ice Serpents. I suggest that you search for them in the outside area of the Ice Dungeon in Trammel, that seems to be the safest area. The outsides deadliest creature is a snow elemental in comparison with the Ice Dungeon itself which has everything from Artic Ogre Lords to Ice Fiends. The Ice Staff makes a great Role Playing item or Decoration (it can be locked down), but it is easily stealable so be wary of strangers.



Update October 28, 2003: Since AOS Glacial Staves won't respond to their command words anymore. It seems OSI has removed this ability permanently.

Finally, the Ice Staff has two other powers, first when the magic words "In Corp Del" is uttered the target victim receives a damaging blow, but you loose all your mana. When the words "An Ex Del" is uttered, the target is paralyzed. Note: Although many have stated they feel the loss of full mana does not justify the use of the item (the mage is too weak to fight afterwards and does not deliver a death blow); however, please do consider the following scenario. It is UO Rares' opinion that if you have two mages with staves who simultaneously use the "In Corp Del" at the same time on one victim, that person almost always falls immediately. This usually allows the two mages to take down any single foe plus assist each other until mana is recharged.

With the addition of arcane clothing you could drop a non buffed person if you had all int charged items on. In Corp Del was the shit!

I think all colors are stupid and should be removed. You should choose your robe, light gray, dark gray, or darker gray and all armor should be brown or dark gray. And all nightmares should be medium gray. And all dragons should be also medium gray. And all monsters should be various shades of gray except of course demons, which should be especially light gray to highlight their evilness.

I'm not a fan of the pink horse. Not to mention these horses are going to end up with the richest players, not females.

I started on this server partly due to the lack of all the "trammy" hue items. I logged onto other servers and said o m g, I'm out. When I talk to others a lot of them say the same things about choosing this server because of the old school feel, without the atrocious hued items.

Blaise mentioned war horses in another post and Chris is mentioning them here, there's no real comparison here. War horses are not an eyesore that was added randomly for an event, they were part of the game as many people remember it and actually serve a purpose. On OSI you could immediately remount a war horse after being bola'd. On UOR war horses are at least an incentive to join factions and if you want to be seen on these cool looking horses you must be out actively which may actually cause some pvp to occur.

From this event there are millions of pink champagne glasses, roses, scrolls, glowing balls that say "Too Sexy", and you guys are drawing the line at 2 purple horses that look very similar to the colored horses that already exist?

PS, you know you can mod your client sprites? Ya'lls dragons are purple and pink pigs and your mares are unicorns... to me.
