Playing UO Renaissance on a Mac OSX using a download and play package

Which two options to change? Do you have a link to that video?

I was able to get the client/razor running with the settings from the video, but I can't get counters to display in the title bar anymore. Anyone had success getting them to work in High Sierra?

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. If anyone else has this issue in the future, I went to Wineskin Advanced Settings > winecfg > Graphics and unchecked "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows."

Got it up and running under high sierra but now the macros in UO are all goofed up and won't stay.

I am having the issue of the counters not displaying in the title bar. I tried the above tip (wine adv settings> graphics > uncheck box), but that box was not even checked for mine. Does anyone have a possible resolution for this issue? Thanks

#1: remember that you may not close the client with the X(close) of windows. propely LOG OUT and then close the client.
otherwise your client settings get lost. (desktop layout , macros and all other stuff)

the full screen issue is : your client thinks (its not phisical) that your CMD button is pressed. then you hit ENTER & the client thinks your switching into full screen. to reset to non full screen go to the file uo.CFG and open with text edit. there is a line that sais "fullscreen=ON". put that to OFF. close files relaunch your client = solved.

now the "active window" oh my god, i had this recently till i figured it out... some of you apps use localisation in the backgroup. this affects that your client goes inactive for a split second, but doesnt get back active. what i did was 1 by 1 turn off localisation for my apps and it turned out it was my Calender. its fixed ever since.

for all MBP users on high sierra:
if the app doesnt run uncheck the box "auto detect GPU info for direct3D"

I'm on High Sierra, attempted to install the Mac OS package, and got hung up at "Verifying "UO Renaissance"..." every time. Is the Mac client still viable / worthwhile over bootcamp (bearing in mind macro options etc.).

works normal for me... you do have to "allow" the package to run in the securty settings because it is not APPLE store certified.

Newb here. I'm having issues with the package for MAC. Running High Sierra
Download the package with razor included.
Instal looked good. Opened via finder and allowed it to run the non verified app. Now it won't open.
Suggestions? thanks for the help!

Hi, I have Sierra too 10.12.3 The game always starts in different ways, no matter how silly it sounds))) When I activate a shortcut, I just wait 40 seconds without visual effects, and then the blade setting opens (where the port and the game version are) I click agree and 2 seconds until the main screen appears Ultima))) Just try to wait a bit!

i could have a look trough teamviewer. (free remote desktop sw)

im no sw engineer so even if you find error logs... i cant analize.

Do I have to open wineskin and install software with that? Am I missing a step?
Is there a quick way to uninstall and try to re install again?

no, the package from uor webiste is working version no need to tweak.

outdated are razor & automap which can be tweaked & updated. but the client itself is the same ever since.

Ok I uninstalled and I'm going to install again to see if there is an error message or something I'm missing.

Verifying UO Renaissance stuck at about 60% of the progress bar.

do you have any antivirus / protecting SW active? if so disable it...

FYI antivirus is totally unnecessary on osx.

firewall is off. what is SW?
