Just curious as to what people think this may be worth and yes I know the event is still on going. Thanks.
From the post @Keza made, it looks like it's an Eminently Accurate Power Snake Bane bow (standard bow range) https://uorforum.com/threads/pirate-tamers-2022-worldwide-event-may-9th-june-19th.55732/
based on the time/energy put into getting it the very bottom off the shelf price wouldn't be less than 1,25m - i sold a sunken summoning component for 250k, seemed reasonable price based purely on demand; some people will complain if the price is half that, appauling will put it on his vendor for 3 times as much i can imagine people that farmed sunken items with the intention of selling them would consider the weapons a lesser prize than the mask or runebook..... i guess just because even if a special hue, themed slayer weapon that you would actually use is pretty awesome it's geared toward the fishing community and we all know there's no money in fishing.
Howdy Vince! Try, try... SB 100k BI 50k BO non 24/48 (I reserve the right to close the auction if the price does not suit me.) Give it a try, I don't think you're the kind of guy who wants to max out gold and you have a reasonable limit. Well, if it goes into space, then that's another story. Good game to you my Friend Regards, Kir
Each sunken component is ~250k but when you are missing one or two, you will often pay a premium for it. I'd say the bow is around 1.5m based on the sunken component+time component, that being because the mask/runebook are higher value
Standard bow range of 11 on the Sunken bow. Cant allow such a high damage bow with the increased range. It is +15 power snake bane as the event post stated, great bow for taking out sea serpents
Personally, I think the value in something like this lies in the collectors market. The slayer/magic properties are cool but I'm not sure thats enough to drive much value. Slayers already exist, and only archers are gonna care. Plus you run the risk (low as it may be) of losing it if you somehow let somebody on to your boat, or get killed out at sea. Peeps pay good money to lock things like this down in their houses though. Jumpman used to collect them. Not sure if there are others that would pay a premium for it but I bet there are. I'd guess anywhere from 500k to 1.5 mill, depending on who is bidding and why.
For a lockdown deco rare, it's way cooler than something to risk loosing for sure. But depending on how many drop, I'd agree with NCCML's pricing, with it being worth more in a few years when you can't find one to match your deco/hues. But stuff surprises me sometimes. I'd wait til the event was over, then see how many drop and if it's under 20, start at a mil and work my way up (but since you earned, it, it's still worth more if you use it for your own personal deco)
So I will go these armchair quarterbacks one step better. Instead of guessing its value. I will make you a straight up offer of 500k. It will look good in my Pirate Themed room... prob on top of the golden chest
Yeah unfortunately I don't think this item even compares at all to the mask and runebook that keza handed out to some folks who did this event. Lucky you didn't get the pitchfork at least. A seperate point, but I feel like this event should have produced a deed that let's the user select which of the 4 items they want. Would leave choices like this to the player.
But then all wed have is masks and runebooks. i like the variety, the items will all be unique enough, some will always have more "value" due to the market here with Masks and books always being at the top.
