"the life of a solo pk is rough"?! LOL. Video 5: Why the leather skirt and armor in your pack? Did the Blood Elemental disrupt his recall? What's with toggling "always run"? I tend to keep it off, though that's probably a bad decision. Video 5/6: It looks like your purple potion really only works if they stand still and try to cast something when the stun wears off. What if you use the purple before casting energy bolt? Video 8: How does the targeting cursor work, when you activate the spell and the purple potion? Looks like whatever you target next will have both spell and the potion thrown at it? Or are you actually targeting twice in rapid succession? Why MindBlast? Faster cast time?
The leather skirt and armor is just different apparel I was playing around with and never got rid of. The blood elemental targeted me so i'm assuming my first harm disrupted and second harm killed. However, after looking back i'm not so sure I got the first harm off in time and perhaps he missed his target of the rune. I toggle run/walk because I like to walk around when i'm in my house or doing misc things, but when i'm going after someone in combat i'll switch to run. No, it works fine when the target is moving, but I sometimes have targeting issues when in the middle of switching targets or going after multiple targets. As it is, the current system only allows for a 50% chance of hitting a mounted player on the run if you throw perfectly. The way I use purples with my spells is to allow me to cast back to back high damaging spells with a pot in between for a disrupt. For example: cast ebolt, drink purple, cancel cursor, target ebolt, start second ebolt, re-drink purple, target purple, target second ebolt. In other words, ebolt/pot/ebolt and the target isn't able to cast gheal. However, I can get a lot more advanced with throwing them in combos and mixing them up, but there's no need because even using them in a basic form is lethal enough. The way I like to use purples primarily is mainly for disruption purposes and the added damage also adds a very nice bonus to my combo damage. The MAJORITY of the time that I throw my pots I successfully hit my target, however, a few videos doesn't nearly depict the actual accuracy I have using them. Also, it does make a difference when in the heat of "pk'ing" having so many different factors to worry about, while at the same time focusing on timing a pot perfectly (i.e. location of target, surrounding mobs, keeping target from escaping/recalling/staying in LOS/healing, etc). Every time I decide to switch targets I have a hot key for "set last target" which I use to select who I want to target next. After I set my last target i'm able to use my last target hotkey to target all offensive tactics such as spells/pots/wands.
The disorganization on people's screen setup makes my eyes bleed lol. I watched maybe 1 minute of koncepts test center video earlier and wanted to gouge my eyes out. Idk what's worse..seeing icons/items/bars/pouches scattered everywhere, or watching people pvp.
