Its not the amount of rares in the house, its how you use them. :D

I'm going to do something with non-rare items. That is challenge somewhat imo.

My entry for Large house is my patio.

*EDIT: Entry changed slightly to include my new Squishy*

It's not particularly "pretty" when compared to other houses, but the house is organized to allow for maximum efficiency when crafting and sorting items.

Each of the 3 rooms is devoted to a crafting skill. The back room is for tailoring, the corner room is for carpentry, and the front room is for smithy. Tinkering is generally done in the smithy room, unless it's carpentry-related tinkering, such as making kegs.

The colored backpacks on the west wall of the front room are for organizing NPC clothing by hue. The colored bags on the north wall are for storing extra stock for my furniture vendors, and the layout of that immediate area (including the table and chair) is intended to imitate the layout of my furny vendor's bags.

The containers (west to east) along the long table barrier are my rares secure, my macro bag (contains all materials I need to macro skills (regs, instruments, etc)), and my regs box.

Finally, the porch area. That area is made into my secure gate spot. If you stand on the tile with the cake, you cannot exit that tile and access other areas of the house without first moving the music stand out of the way, which requires co owner status in the house, of course. This allows me to gate securely to anywhere on the map from inside my house without exposing the rest of my house to the risk of looting. The grey bag is hued to closely match the floor and is secured to co owners or above (in other words, me). This bag is my rune bag and contains my runebooks.

This long explanation is very abridged (believe it or not) and is intended to demonstrate just how intently the house's design and layout are devoted to organization and security.

My entry for the Large House category.

It is titled "The Workshop of OoO" and is found in...you guessed it, the land of OoO! My goal is to one day buy enough lockdowns to have it fully open to the public.

And here she is as a whole...The Workshop of OoO!

I invite anyone who wants to come by for an actual tour to send me a PM as the screenshots really don't do it justice...and a special thanks to Markos, Jupiter, Bili the Axe and Gray Cload for their insight and opinions on finishing this soon-to-be public house on UOR! :)

Thanks for your consideration and good luck to all the other contestants on this years House Deco Contest!
