How do i view all threads not just ones with new messages in them?

This should be the default view unless you are looking at the new post list.

The new forums look great. Good call on the transition.

Edit: Actually that's understating how I feel about it. This was desperately needed!

At first, like a few others, I was hesitant to embrace this new look. But after playing around, and searching a bit...I am really happy with the change! Also, as has been previous stated, this was a HUGE upgrade for mobile viewing. Thanks a ton as always to Chris and staff! Mucho appreciato!

Update: BBCode editor added with all of the commands from the previous forums. Clicking on the light switch in the upper right corner will switch you to bbcode edit mode, vs rich text.
Todo: Style the editor to match our current style.

Actually, the personal options are available; hover over your username at the top right-hand corner of the page, until the tab opens. Once it opens, click Preferences. This option is there, along with several others.

This can also be set in the aforementioned preferences location. Simply go to the preferences pane, and you have two choices:

    A) If you wish to ONLY use the BBCode editor, deselect both "Use the rich text editor to create and edit messages" and "Use the rich text editor but display BBCode text editor first" -- bear in mind that the RTF editor is no longer available with this choice.

    B) If you wish to retain the option for the RTF Editor, but essentially reverse order of operation (the BBCode editor will display first, and the switch icon will change to the RTF editor), then select both of the previously mentioned options.

Love the new forum software, Chris! Much cleaner IMO.

Sometimes it auto logs me out when I click the "Home" button. Even without closing my browser. This happened 2 times in the last 20 minutes.

I have also experienced this; I assumed it was because my other desktop at home was logged in -- but I could be incorrect. This is also with the 'Keep me logged in' option checked.

    Corruption, thanks.

One other suggestion... when I click "Mark All Forums Read", I think we can skip the "are you sure?" interstitial. 99% of the time, I am indeed sure. And the other 1% is hardly catastrophic :)

Based on the proximity of the button, I'd rather retain the Mark All Forums Read confirmation. Now that I've done it once, I know exactly what I haven't seen that's fresh.

So is it subscribers that get the UOR supporter tag or do donors as well? I sent a donation via PayPal on the 27th. Did it not go through or something?

I update those about once every two weeks, or when someone mentions it to me. We are currently converting the system for the new forums so should be done soon.

I just finished the css for the supporter banners, working on the development forum at the moment

Doing a little google searching this might be the cause

"In my previous experience with Xenforo, if you do not set the forum to log you in automatically and you click on the Home link, the forum will log you out."

It's really not a big deal. You hear about hinky shit happening with PayPal now and then and I was just making sure we didn't get hosed.

Nope, Thanks for the donation by the way. Every little bit helps advertise UOR to the masses.

Once we get this new forum package mastered I will work to make sure we do something nice to reward our donors on their posts/profiles.

I'm happy to do it and plan to donate on a regular basis. Words cannot express how happy I am on this shard and how impressive it is.

Okay, I'm still too confused by all new stuff to give much useful feedback but here's a couple things that are bothering me or that I just don't understand:
    1. All fields are laggy for me and don't keep up with my typing speed. Sometimes this results in reversed or skipped characters, particularly involving spaces. Is that just the way of things now or is it related to my computer or browser? <<Took me like 4 minutes to write that without typos that weren't my fault!?!?
    2. I'm really not understanding how unread posts are marked which is basically my main focus when I'm browsing the forums. Clicking the "go to first unread message" button also doesn't seem to function at all for me.
    3. Using the profile drop-down menu is like playing whack-a-mole as soon as I have an alert icon in there.

I think currently it is reporting unread messages not unread posts. I will be changing that here in a bit.

As for the typing I am not sure, are you getting the same experience with in all the various ways you can type? BBCode, Rich Text? Quick Reply?

I think Godric's problem might be he's using a version of Netscape from 98.
