Hello all, I'm new to the server, and haven't seriously played UO since I quit OSI around AoS with a little dabbling in IPY and Hybrid years ago. Anyways, I wasn't sure where else to ask this but is there a roleplaying scene here? I noticed Orks but I didn't see any kind of active information anywhere on the forums. So if anybody could point me in the right direction... I'd appreciate it. Other than that though I really like what I've seen so far! Planning on sticking around awhile.
There's some orc roleplayers in Compassion, another clan over by Yew Orc Fort and a couple of human RP type guilds. Village of Paws is probably the foremost RP human guild while Citizens of Stormhold are next. Check out their guild subforums and hang out in IRC to catch wind of any impromptu adventures (Jupiter's favorite kind).

Sorry I had another topic on my head when I started writing this. But yes, the Village of Paws is somewhat Northwesterly of Trinsic, directly West of Fens of the Dead, and Southwesterly of Britain. If you are familiar with the Shrine of Spirituality you can't possibly our village. My personal focus is primarily on impromptu quests to help enrich my time as well as yours while you're adventuring. We have many villagers who might be willing to help you out with your story/adventure if your adventures are more interesting than staring at a piece of bark in the Spirit Wood.

If you are looking for a guild to join up with that focuses on new player development and fellowship (and gear, and loot, and housing, and skill gain....) then come join up with Project Sanctuary! We juuusttt got reworked, so now is a good time to get in on the ground floor. And yes, Village of Paws and Stormhold are great! I have a relationship ( tee hee) with both Jupiter and Blaise and they are both stand up guys! Let me know if you are interested in some new player action for however long you choose to stay, and I will meet up with you and get ya in the guild! ~Krake
Thanks for all the replies! I'm glad there's a scene here. I'll download IRC and linger around Trinsic and Stormhold and see whats what. I feel like I've run into Paws before on a different server, but I can't remember for sure. The impromptu adventures sound like a blast though, I'll be signing that waiver soon. Krake, where are you guys located? I'd love to meet up and get back into the swing of things. I'm a little UO rusty but I'm down for whatever!
