Now that matches have been made and we are moving forward with this gift exchange I have a few questions. 1) Do our presents need to be Christmas themed or will any shiny do? 2) What is the greatest and least amount we should be looking to spend on our gift? 3) Are people paired, (Bart gives Jupiter a gift, Jupiter gives Bart a gift) or do we give and receive a gift to someone randomly on the list? 4) How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? If you don't find much info about your partner from their posts/paperdoll, do the best you can in making a gift bag. 2) What is the greatest and least amount we should be looking to spend on our gift? Since we have a variety of players, new and old, rich and poor, the contents of the gift bag is left up to the gifter. No gift is too big or too small. Please don't turn in a gift bag of useless items. Give what you can afford. I don't expect a new player to provide a uber rare or a rich vet to gift a staff of ruin. If you have an issue with your giftee, please overlook any past grievances. Once, your gift bag is ready - please contact Zyler or Jupiter in IRC to return. Please return your gift bag no later Wednesday, December 14th. Please contact me if you have any questions. Participants who do not turn in a gift bag will be removed from Secret Santa's list. Secret Santa and his helpers will contact the North Pole workshop and make the appropriate arrangements. Ill try to be online US evenings around 10 pm est during the evenings. I'll most likely be connected via my mobile Christmas cheer device which Zyler provided to me. This just means there might be a slight delay between contacting me and me actually logging in. Also, not that we have had an issue with identity scams on this Shard, but when turning in your gift bag please make sure you are dealing with the real Mccoy. You were just PMd in forums. =) Update Friday 12/9, 4pm Eastern: I've contacted and received confirmation from 70% of the participants thru IRC. I will be contacting the others using forum PM since no replies were received or player wasn't on IRC. Jupiter & I will begin collecting gifts later today/this evening. Hehehe.... Participants.... Please be patient. Please understand there is lots of leg work & organization that goes into this event. We have 50 people to contact, verify, get a gift from, then distribute gifts to. We have not passed out gifts yet and will likely not until after the gift turn in deadline of Dec 14th. We don't want to give gifts to players who don't provide one. Thanks =)
