Yes, Once a bid is done it is done. If I am leading an auction I would never back out at that point. I did state the moment I was outbid I was out of that auction. If outbid it is no longer my responsibility to sit back and wait to see if someone backs out. If it was then people would simply drive auctions up themselves and wait to see how high they can get it.
